LeadAbroad

Where do I even begin! I started my LeadAbroad journey back in 2021 as a student on their GO Barcelona program. I absolutely fell in love with travel during this time. It was an incredible way for me to meet new people, connect with new cultures, and learn more about myself and my new environments. I kept all of these experiences and memories with me for a little over a year, then I applied for the Fellowship role. The Fellowship has been nothing short of incredible. I was lead by an amazing group of full-time staff to make me comfortable and confident in leading students over the summer! The Fellowship is broken into 2 parts: 3 months abroad and 3 months in Atlanta! During my 3 months abroad, I served as a Leader on the LEAD Cape Town and GO Barcelona programs. I learned so much during these 3 months, but performance under pressure, initiative, and confidence stick out to me first. During my 3 months in Atlanta doing sales, I got to learn the basics of sales. Traveling all over the SEC meeting and connecting with future students taught me the importance of human connection. My 6 months as a fellow were undoubtedly the best 6 months of my life. I am so grateful for this experience and the true FAMILY I have gained in LeadAbroad (employees and students, alike!)

My name is Collins Rustin and I am from Columbus, Georgia. I am currently a third-year at UGA. This past summer, I went on LeadAbroad's GO Rome program. I did not know many people going into the trip, but left five weeks later with some of my best friends. LeadAbroad made studying abroad so comfortable and easy, giving students an extensive itinerary the minute we landed. This included popular food spots in the city, when and where class was, planned activities, traveling tips, and many more helpful recommendations. I am so thankful I chose to study with LeadAbroad because I left with the most amazing experiences and memories.

My names Alyssa Parodi and I had the absolute privilege to study abroad with Lead Abroad this past summer. I had the most amazing 5 weeks in Rome, Italy where I learned so many new things, got used to a whole new culture, and made the most amazing memories. The food was to die for and so was the overall experience. I found out about Lead Abroad through Auburn University and through it I was also able to make a ton of new friends from not only Auburn but also other schools. I would 100% recommend this experience!

My name is Lucy Wilson and I am currently a junior at the University of Mississippi! I have traveled twice with Leadabroad and it was the best decision I have ever made! I chose to travel on the Direct Cape-town and Direct Greece program and I absolutely loved both!! LeadAbroad provides a community that pushes one another and encourages you to break boundaries. While abroad I learned a lot about myself and the people around me, which gave me a new found perspective on life!! If you are looking for a program with a supportive and encouraging community LeadAbroad is the one!!!!

There are not enough words to express how AMAZING this trip was!! My name is Athena and I'm a junior at The University of Alabama! I went on DIRECT Cape Town this past summer and had the best experience of my entire life. The friendships I made on my trip will be with me forever! I was surrounded by so many new people, got to explore the ins & outs of Capetown, and venture out of my comfort zone with the insane adventures offered by LeadAbroad. If you ever want to go abroad, LeadAbroad is the way to go! :)
