Pancake Social

This is a cute place, but nothing special. I thought the food was pretty good, but overpriced. I liked the potato fritters the best. They also messed up my order which was frustrating since they seemed to be running slowly in the first place. They did fix it and serve me the right thing though so I can't be too mad.

What I dont like beside the prices lol is theres an employee that works there with her hands on peoples food this particular employee (young black female with braids and glasses) grabs a customers cat when the customer comes to pancake social then this same girl have to bring people their food to them. this cat clearly is shedding cause the owner has cat sheddings all over her .thats just nasty and non sanitary for an employee to do that then serve customers food AND JUST NOW ANOTHER EMPLOYEE comes from behind the counter and touches this same cat not knowing if the cat is clean or not and neither employee washed their hands afterwards.thats so unclean and risky

Didnt get food but have heard great things. I could understand they would have a wait on a Sunday. Some people are outside maybe about 15, not a lot for pancake social. I walk in, one person in line in front of me, the host is rolling silverware while simultaneously trying to alert customers to their table. A server did come over and take over that responsibility. The restaurant was half full, with servers standing around definitely not looking busy. Hostess was a nice girl, she told us it was a 45 minute wait. My buddies and are come from this industry. We understood the wait. We did not understand why the restaurant was half empty with servers not looking busy. Is it because your kitchen is slow? Very confusing experience we left without going on list because hostess said people have a 10 minute grace period to get tables. They could have easily sat all the people outside and still had room. There was definitely zero urgency from the employees I saw. Im sure the food is excellent its a bummer because Ive never been and was looking forward to it. Again lack of urgency was insane to see

We are new to the neighborhood and just had a great breakfast here. Service was excellent, food came out fast and was absolutely delicious!

Great food, fun open atmosphere! Service by Lou was friendly and quick. Kid-friendliness: Special seating for littles and a lively atmosphere where their business is not distracting.
