Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

Ordered french toast with butter and bacon, received french toast with no butter and bacon. After asking the server and another lady for butter I got no butter. All while she and the other lady kept helping others. Server actually brought a drink out to the table and I asked again for butter. Finally after 10 min the manager saw I wasn't eating and asked if he could help me and I said yes, I need some butter. He immediately walked back and brought me some butter in less than 30 seconds. Hmm wonder why it's so hard to get something so easy? French toast was decent but by then it was cold. Others at my table thought their food was okay. Overall not impressed and certainly not with the servers.

Our food was delicious, I didnt need any seasoning for my omelette nor my hashbrowns. The music was not too loud Like a lot of places in Atlanta, for Sunday brunch. The parking leaves a lot to be desired. I pulled in the parking deck and saw shattered glass so I parked on the street , which is free on Sundays to park on the city street. Apparently, there was some type of miscommunication or misunderstanding with the substitution of toast for a pancake. Our server told us there is no Up charge if you chose to switch . But of course when the bill came there was a $5.75 fee for the crme brle pancake of the day . I distinctly asked the server is there an up charge and she didnt ask for any clarity and said Distinctly said , no. Of course, we were disappointed, but the issue was resolved by mgmt who pointed out there is a fee on the menu for the substitution of the toast for a pancake. Nonetheless, the fee was removed. Will I return, perhaps, but not that location I dont like the parking situation, but the food was good!

It pains me to write this review because up until this experience, Ive always loved Snooze. My husband and I have dined at several locations across the US, and all of them have been excellent. This location definitely did not live up to the Snooze reputation we are accustomed to. When we arrived, the host was kind and we were seated right away. Our waiter was cheerful and attentive. We ordered black coffee and a lavender latte to start, and noticed it took awhile to come out, but didnt think much of it. We then ordered OMG French toast, duo eggs Benny, the Spud Delux, and a side of bacon. Our waiter checked on us every now and then, but after about 40 min of waiting for our breakfast, we asked him to check on our orders. He promptly did and said it shouldnt be too much longer. Another 10 min later, he came to our table and said unfortunately they are very short staffed in the kitchen and it would be a bit longer for the food. Meanwhile, during this 45-50 minute wait, Im noticing to-go order after to-go order leave the kitchen. Id say I counted about 30 to-go orders leaving the kitchen during this time frame. We finally decided, after almost an hour of waiting for our breakfast, that we would like to just close out and leave. We had to be at our next destination and couldnt continue to wait for the food. Our waiter was very kind and accommodating of our request. The host then came to our table and kindly explained that the kitchen is behind on orders and short-staffed today. I asked why so many to-go orders were being prepared but the people sitting in the restaurant were not being served. Other tables were also waiting on their food and had been there longer than us. The restaurant was also not very busy (about 1/3 of the tables were full). The host explained that the to-go orders had been placed earlier and needed to be filled. I said it would have been nice to know this ahead of time, as we simply wouldnt have chosen to dine there. He asked if we wanted our orders prepared for take-out, but we declined because we had chosen to dine-in on purpose, to enjoy our breakfast out as a family. He was apologetic, but didnt offer to bring the manager over or offer to least comp our coffee. So we paid for our coffee and left without eating breakfast. Very disappointing morning for our family and I sadly wont be returning to Snooze in the future. I truly hope management can intervene and use this review as a tool to improve service for dine-in customers.

We had a party of 9 gather at the Midtown Monroe location to celebrate a birthday and an engagement. We called ahead to put our name on the list and our table was cleared after a short wait. Our server Helen was phenomenal! She congratulated our birthday girl and the newly engaged couple. She graciously took pictures of our group upon request. The food was delicious.. I got the crab and asparagus omlette with a side salad. Loved it. We had such a festive time.

One of the best breakfast places I've ever been too. Really cool ambiance, good service and outstanding food. Everything tasted great including the coffee and juice. Went back several times during the week it was so good. Highly recommend, two thumbs up!
