They have closed the lab at this location. The only way you would know this is by the sign on the door. It's still listed on the website as open but it isn't. Why they haven't updated that is beyond me. Don't waste half of your afternoon like I just did...

I couldn't have a better healthcare experience than I do whenever I visit Dr. Caroline J. Collins facility. The staff (receptionist/nurses) are wonderful and I cannot say enough nice things about their team. My doctor is very caring, thorough and she's the best!

The nurses and receptionists here make the experience and the doctors seem absolutely terrible but Ive been coming to this location for years and can tell you its the new staff. They have attitudes and issues with doing any aspect of their job. Calling up there proves to get nothing done and often times when the doctors request them to do things they dont do it. Its as if they dont understand their job is to assist the doctors and help the patients. All these people are there for is to fill hours and get paid. Many patients on life threatening medication have had to wait sometimes weeks for the nurses to get the correct paperwork to the doctors or insurance companies. Meaning patients had to wait weeks in order to get their medication. Using the patient portal usually takes a few hours for the doctor to respond, but now these nurses do not transfer the messages to the doctor and brush off your questions and ailments as minuscule things that do not matter. You can message your doctor but wont get a response until a few days after from the nurse who doesnt want to send over your message to the doctor. Theyre also overbooking the doctors which is why the doctors are so swamped and busy with patients. They dont understand scheduling and the doctors are suffering because of it. Its frustrating watching a medical practice youve frequented for years go down hill because of new staff that was recently hired in only a year. I hope that Emory takes note of these reviews and fire these staff members because they have caused serious health issues to become overlooked by not wanting to do their job. But remember these women do not care and are only there to get paid. Not good for so called healthcare workers.
