Live Well Chiropractic, Massage, Pilates & Reiki

I was gifted 10 Reiki sessions w/ Karla, so far proving to one the best gifts I've been given. I've had some reiki in the past but nothing memorable. This is different. It may be that part of it is that I am more open to this sort of energetic healing work, but it's more than that. Karla is meant for this. As a friend says, shes blessed to be a blessing Its been incredibly helpful in softening the edges of anxiety and other aspects of my own personal healing efforts. Thank you, Karla

I was so impressed with Devins massage! His technique was great and he released knots much more effectively than other massages Ive had in the past. He did a great job and I would recommend 10/10. I cant wait to come back!

I have had the privilege of becoming Dr. Shoshanas patient almost two years ago when I moved to Atlanta for chiropractic school! As a chiropractic student myself I knew it was important to find a chiropractor to keep my spine health in check. I stumbled upon Live Well while researching offices in the Atlanta area. What drew me initially to Live Well was the variety of services offered in house! From chiropractic, to Pilates, to massage, the Purple House had it all! I have a complicated scoliosis and Dr. Shoshana has helped improve not only my back pain but my health in general! I could not have asked for a better doctor. Dr. Shoshana is patient, intelligent, kind, and creates a community within her office. To know her is to love her! Live Well is the place to be!

This review is about the Reiki services. I did a one hour session with Karla, and it was lovely. I've been pretty into meditation and spirituality for the past several years, so I was already decently-informed about a lot of the knowledge and practices that were passed on during the session, but prior to it I always felt that while I was doing a pretty good job, there was a level that I wasn't reaching in my presence (especially regarding to my connection to some of my chakras). Then one day I ran into Karla while Live Well was giving free massages and quick chiropractic consultation. After talking to her for a little bit, I knew that a Reiki session was exactly what I'm looking for. I did my first one a few days ago, and she helped me enter a very deep meditative state while she practiced her Reiki. Immediately after the session I felt a subtle, but noticeable difference in my presence. It just felt a little more natural. During the days after the session, it became a lot easier to not second guess myself, and my confidence came to me more naturally. My meditations started becoming more powerful, and my artistic expression felt like it was even more of a part of me, rather than something I am trying to reach. Everything in terms of my inner self simply feels more accessible. This practice is definitely something I would recommend to anyone - regardless of experience levels with meditation. As long as you have an open mind, and a desire for self-improvement, a Reiki session should do you wonders. Also, Karla is a very sweet and lovely person to share this experience with. If you have any sort of interest, big or small, sign up! P.S. I am writing this review just 5 days after my session. It is very possible I continue feeling improvements in the coming weeks and months. I also intend on returning at some point, so I may update you guys further on my experience.

I entered 2024 with a reiki session with Karla. A friend of mine suggested her to me. When I found out it was in "The Purple House", I knew I was meant to go in as I live just walking distance and pass by it frequently. My roommates and I agree; there is something special about "the purple house"! I have always been curious about reiki and the healing properties it has. I am already into meditation and perform yoga regularly; Spirituality has always been a deep interest of mine and I do know a lot about the chakras; however, even if you aren't super into meditation or spiritual learning, I do believe you could still benefit from reiki and Karla does an amazing job walking you through the process. She calmed my nerves immediately. Her energy is inviting and warm. She did explain everything I needed to know about what to expect, the chakras, and my intentions. Once I was settled into the deep meditation, I felt "the heat" Karla was describing immediately. During my reiki session, I did have the tingles, twitches and even ear ringing she described for the energy shifting. After it was done, I just couldn't stop laughing!! We laughed together for a while and she offered water. The absolute clarity and relief I felt was intense but so necessary. We sat and talked about her experience in how she got into reiki and her beautiful story to her healer journey. It was a much needed story I needed to hear for myself in following my heart. The relief, clarity, and grounded energy I have felt sense then is incredible. I feel more motivated, yet calm. I went ahead and signed up for another session for a few weeks later. However, I do believe someone could do this once and not need another session for a long time. For me, I want to experience it again, as I know it is different every time. I also wasn't sure what to expect for my first time, so the next time I can fully be aware during session and able to deepen my meditation practice more. I am sure I will continue to feel the benefits of reiki as the days keep coming on. I recommend Karla to ANYONE who has ever been curious about reiki and wants to deepen their own practice and heal their chakras. It is truly a magical experience that is just your own.
