Comfort Inn Atlanta Downtown South

This hotel is located in a bad area. You cannot walk to anything due to homeless people and nothing around. One of the outlets didn't work which is fine but room is dated as was the microwave but done it's job. The beds were hard and windows dirty. We set the air conditioner on 70 and would cut on and off but no control to have stay on. Hallway smelled our room was noisy as they put beside the hwy room 5519. We would have switched after first night but we're only there 2 days so not worth the trouble although 2nd night was a little better as we did not get back to the hotel til 1:30 and were pretty tired. A little disappointed they did not have gravy for biscuits as advertised but other breakfast stuff looked ok I only had waffles as u made those yourself. My friend had the instant grits but butter had been melted and re refrigerated. The 4 slot toaster2 sides did not work and toast was burnt on other side she used. If we had known about area would have opted to pay more to be close to safe train station.

the host was very amazing I did not get her name I am on crutches and she gave me a room that's convenient for my situation without me asking and she was really friendly with my son she deserves to be in the corporate position. ms X I don't know your but your best. I check in on the 26 of march around 6 or 7 pm. . Rooms: needs some works

The front desk and housekeeping staff are really nice and very professional. The breakfast is good. However, the condition of the hotel is very bad. The room had a bad smoking like and musty smell. There was a cockroach that came on top of the fridge and microwave. The bathroom fan didnt work and most outlets in the room didnt work including a lamp on the right side of the bed. After coming home, I had to wash everything I took with me because all my stuff absorbed that extremely nasty room smell and it gave me terrible breathing issues, sore throat and a cough. The hotel room needs to be repaired and they need to change the carpets because they have a terrible smell.

I booked my room over a month ago. Came and waited for ever. Front desk clerk said they didnt have my room. Finally after a while I got a room. Tv didnt work clock is there for nothing because they sit it on a table where no plugs are available. Refrigerator was taped up still new, never opened or plugged in. Couldnt use phone to call front desk because they didnt have a phone, after I was told to dial 0 on the phone if I need anything. Place is terrible!! Only good thing I can say is the front desk clerk was very nice
