    I got a room for the weekend to let my kids swim and i was disappointed none of the kids wanted to swim because the pool was freezing cold! So that was a waist of money..i also waited 3 hours for them replace the remote that didnt work

    If I could give them a 0, I would. I was booked for two double beds and was told on online booking that I could check in anytime. When we got there around 9:45pm, the 2nd shift manager (maybe) who would only identify himself as Steph (large framed African American male) was very patronizing as he told us that he gave our room away because I was not yet a gold member. He reserved a king bed with no sofa bed. If I had wanted to sleep in the bed with my traveling companion, I would have booked that. He claimed that I could book another hotel and offered absolutely no support. The part that he did not acknowledge was that I was booked there for two nights. He did not even know! He kept talking to me in a patronizing tone as I fired off questions. I was livid. We had just gotten here on a road trip from Michigan to check on my young adult daughter who was admitted in the hospital. I could barely contain my wrath. He then tried to tell me how to respond. There was absolutely no empathy or compassion. His customer service skills were awful. Others kept their rooms. It was not until I called the original booking number that I got assistance after I asked for a supervisor(Fernando). Steph gave the king room away while I was on the phone after I specifically asked him not to because we didnt have an alternative yet. Again, he was acting like a real jerk the entire time because he initially said he would hold it while I called. If you view my account, I have stayed in a few Hilton Garden Inns in the south this week alone. I am really disappointed. I feel undervalued as a customer and will definitely elaborate more when I can sit down and truly share. 4/5 - After reading the owner response, I contacted the number listed and got no answer. I also left some more extensive info at the site listed.
