        I was actually put out out hospital because I still had unresolved issues(active bleeding&injured and swollen that they caused)and did not want to leave because I did not feel it would be safe for me..

        I have sat in the ER for 8 hours with next to no care for my 65 year old mother. Emory as a system is fine, but never again will I go to this location.

        Although my husbands surgeon, Dr. Chen, was curt, rude, and never checked on him after surgery, we were very impressed with the rest of the staff. His nurses were all kind, attentive, and polite. Those nurses are: Chris Walker during surgery check-in, Madeline in surgery, and from the 7th floor tower: Ali, Ann Marie, Tawanda, Derek, and Tomarrow. The anesthesiology team, Dr. Chu and nurse Courtney were equally kind and reassuring. We were also impressed with the resident doctor, Andee Fontenont. Although she wasnt present for the duration of my husbands surgery, she was very polite and tried her best to answer all the questions we wanted to ask. The facility was clean and we were blessed with a large room that had plenty of seating and a couch for me to sleep on.
