Brock Built

My husband and I decided to downsize and built our new retirement home. We chose Brock Built since the floor plan was great and they had decent large lots. Everyone was nice until they got the deposit. Things started to get bad right away, form the wrong floor plan to the wrong elevation, to the construction quality. Crooked gables, multiple holes in the roof, tilted roof tresses, cracks in the cement base that goes all the way to the dirt, wall boards that did not connect , floor boards that dit not meet the wall, and the list goes on and on. We brought all these issues to the construction manager and inquired about the poor construction. He proved to be very hard to deal with, and his answer was " if everything was done correctly, I will have no job". We wrote letters to the owner, the chief operating officer, the manager of sales and marketing , NO ANSWER. we decided to walk away. Finally the NEW sales person called us an offered 50% back on our deposit we took it. We feel cheated and discriminated against by this builder. they should have done right by us and gave us the full deposit back. They did not hold their end of the contract by building us a safe and well build resident. We have multiple pictures to back up our claim. My advise to any new buyer , Do your homework before you sign on the dotted line.

Brockbuilt Homes built Adams Vineyard in Norcross Georgia (2014-2021) and abandoned the community. They are in a criminal lawsuit filed by the City of Norcross for failure to complete major infrastructure items in our community. They prefer to keep this in the courts over many years to come and force the 58 homeowners to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to repair what they should have done prior to abandoning our community. They refuse to communicate directly with the community they built and sold homes to. Terrible customer service that is now going to cost homeowners $5K each to repair what they didn't do properly - storm water drainage and a 100 year detention pond.

We are highly impressed with our new Brock Built home after living in it for one year. From the high end finishes, to the quality construction- we are in love with this house. We had very minor issues with windows / doors but they came out to fix them very fast. They have been very responsive and helpful with us during the building process and the year after we moved in. This is our 2nd experience with a new construction home and must say - brock built is extremely fair with their costs for upgrades. I would highly recommend Brock Built if youre considering a new construction home in the Atlanta area! Services: Custom home design, Home building

Been in the house 7 years. Pretty unresponsive to issues the first year. Early problems with drainage. Builder Tried to fix by adding 5 gallon home depot bucket with gravel buried in the ground. Stupid Replaced both AC units and line set to upstairs after 4 years. $8000 Plumbing piping continually leaking. Neighbor had to replace his recirculating pump and line. I'm sure I will soon as I've already repaired 3 leaks. Quote for around $10000. Replaced sod of entire lot. Cheapest Bermuda possible installed and completely gone after 5 years. Despite having lawn company treat and irrigate consistently. $15, 000 Buried construction debris everywhere. Design and look of the house is nice, but the costs associated with having to replace systems that should have lasted twice as long due to poor workmanship and inferior products is disappointing. Would definitely not purchase from this builder again. Service: Home building
