The wait here is awful. The appointment was for 12 noon and it is now 1:30 and we still have not seen the doctor. This is ridiculous. No one has even come in to say he's running behind or give any acknowledgement, we're just sitting in a room. Unacceptable!!!

I had multiple appointments with Dr. Culley finally resulting in surgery. My biggest concern expressed multiple times to Dr. Culley was post operative pain management due to my surgical history. Dr. Culley assured me he would work with my other Dr's to insure I was properly taken care of. We went into the surgery with a plan in place that I would be staying over night in the hospital if my pain control was any concern. At the time I had only been in recovery from an opiate addiction for a few months, the previous time I relapsed was due to another surgery with inadequate pain management. I was not going to repeat this. This was all shared with Dr. Culley. The morning of the surgery it was almost as if a different Dr. showed up(an hour late mind you). I should have stopped the surgery right then and there due to his sudden memory lapse but I had been dealing with the issue he was to correct since I was a teenager and was excited to get relief. Dr. Culley seemed to forget our plan completely the morning of the surgery. Post op while they were bringing me to I had a major reaction to the pain and almost went into shock, luckily for me the anesthesiologist was walking by the room when this occurred and realized I was under medicated. Yes they were correct in their dosing for an average person my age, sex and weight but this is why I had my other Dr's involved to explain my current situation. I was in recovery for the longest time with the nurses doing everything they could to keep me comfortable and my blood pressure down. Dr. Culley then tried to discharge me against the head nurses advise and actually did discharge me. The head nurse was faberglasted at his attitude and lack of caring. I was put in a wheel chair to be discharged but the nurse knew I could not leave in that condition. She went out of her way to get the hospitals pain management department involved. After 4 pain management Drs. had a consultation with me, they immediately told Dr. Culley to admit me, he refused. At that point in time there was raised voices in the hallway between Dr. Culley and the head of the pain management department. I was then admitted back to the hospital under the care of the pain management department. I was in the hospital overnight and release the next evening. Dr. Culley was horrendous in his handling of my case, and continued to deny any wrong doing after . I did some investigation found out he never filled out the paper work like he promised was complete to get my records from my other pain management/addiction Dr. Even with multiple attempts from them to get Dr. Culley to follow their processes. This was an eye opener for me, as I went into this thinking all doctors followed the Hippocratic oath, I was sadly mistaken. Do you research. I am now under the care of another Urologist preparing to have another surgery to hopefully actually fix the problem I am having.
