One star is given solely for the nurse Joanna who was very nice and gave more advice and attention than Dr okoro. Okoro was a waste of my time to see as I feel thats how she felt about me. She pretty much came in the room to say drink water and exercise, when I asked is that all she says what did you expect to happen? Imagine my shock at this dim mf. I obviously expect that you show concern, look at me, decide to run a test or two. No one comes to this type of doctor bc its fun. The interaction between this woman and I, a scheduled Drs visit, that I left work for, was all of five minutes for her to give me two samples of linzess. And I have a follow up appt that also is scheduled with no urgency in mind. Should our interaction change and she actual prove she has care providing qualities I will change my review. However right now the best thing going for that place is Joanna.

Dr. Okoro is the BEST, wish I could give her a THOUSAND STARS!!!!! Her staff also is ABSOLUTELY wonderful!!! When she walked into the room, joy and peace came in with her! She immediately put me at ease. I felt like she had known me, for years! On the day of my procedure, everyone I came in contact with at the hospital were so kind and caring, just like Dr. Okore. It was such a great experience, even though it was a colonoscopy!!!

I had a wonderful experience at Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates. I was seen right away after checking in. I was seen by Dr. Okoro, and she's incredible, to say the least! Dr. Okoro was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere! Dr. Okoro showed a great level of empathy while addressing my concerns. I appreciate Dr. Okoro for taking the time to go over my diagnosis and treatment options. I've been dealing with IBS-C for 15 years now, and her recommendations and treatment options has put my mind and condition at ease. I'm glad I decided to give this practice a try!!! A little resilience and persistence goes a long way!! I highly recommend Dr. Okoro to anyone that is suffering from IBS, or any related condition, and is looking for real results!!!!
