Dr. Stephen F. Brandt, MD

I've been seeing Dr Brandt for almost a decade. He spends time with patients and I've never had a bad experience with him. He is part of Emory and the clinic administration is hit or miss.

My rating thus far is based on the 5 month wait to see Dr Brandt. My doctor called him and they discussed my case. Even after that, neither Dr. Brandt nor any of his associates could see me. Once I see him, I will update my rating accordingly.

Dr. Brandt is a great doc! He is very through and I never feel rushed and his management of my case is exceptional. I highly recommend him.

This review is more directed at Dr. Brandt's clinic not the physician himself. I am a new patient who made an appointment back in May of 2022. It was a 5.5 month wait to see Dr. Brandt and 2 weeks prior to my appointment I had not received any notifications or reminders. Upon calling Emory, they notified me that my appointment was cancelled back in June of this year and I was not notified. Not through mail, phone, or text, only through their portal, which I did not have and was changing over to their new system. I explained I would be driving 3+ hours, my husband and I took a day off work to see him and made arrangements for my 3 year old to be taken care of with a sitter. The clinic said they would make this right and pass this onto the Dr. and supervisor and return my call within 48 hours. No such thing was done. I called to complain and try to figure out how to fix this and was passed onto the Patient Care Coordinator, who never returned my call. I told them I would not be coming to their clinic for care after this treatment and received a call back from the pituitary center 2 weeks later asking me to reschedule my appointment that I waited 5.5 months to get into. This is not how any patient should be treated and the clinic should be doing everything in their power to fix this and that didn't happen. Patients beware.
