I just had my first experience today but it was fantastic. Everyone was kind and attentive from the moment I walked in. I loved how they took my A1C and downloaded all my tech before I even saw the provider. My wait time was quick and reasonable. I saw Ms. Adriana Ruiz Rosario, the PA, and she spent almost an hour with me discussing every concern I had. She was so attentive, had amazing bedside manner, and seemed genuine and caring, and made me feel empowered and excited to try new strategies to manage my type 1 diabetes.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The front desk is a joke. Had to call about 10 times to finally have someone set a new patient appointment. First impressions are huge. If you value having a good endo which includes a functioning office staff run far and fast away from this office. Worst experience Ive had.

My diabetes had been mis-managed and mis-diagnosed as Type II for ten years, until I met Brooke. She was patient, and she listened to my story. She realized that I must be Type I, and asked whether I had ever had the test to tell which I am. I didn't even know the test existed, and my previous endocrinologist had never mentioned that there was one. It turns out that I have Latent autoimmune diabetes of adults (LADA), caused by an autoimmune response that killed off the insulin-producing cells in my body. The treatment is completely different from Type II!. Now I have continuous glucose monitor and an insulin pump, and my blood sugar is finally under control. Thanks Brooke!

I have been a patient here for over 20 years, I recently sent a question to customer service and never got a response. I am not a fan of the MyChart system at all. Email is a horrible communication method for a lot of this because half of your questions will be over looked. Please do not ask me to call you, you have my info on file; you call me.

I had a appointment here to see Dr.David Reyes Umpierrez back in April.He is the Endocrinologist Doctor here.I dont have diabetes but I was having adrenal and thyroid issues.The front desk is very unprofessional and the front desk manager was even more unprofessional.This was my first and only appointment.Dr.Umpierrez was also unprofessional and his bedside manner was terrible.He was rude and acted like he didnt want to be there.He didnt order tests or check my vitals.I left knowing I would never be back.They even tried to get me to make another appointment.No way.
