Received a message from Cynthia T. via LinkedIn informing me that there was a position that might be ideal due to my background. I expressed an interest. I got a message back requesting a copy of my resume and was told that a calendar invite would be sent so that we could chat about the position. I was also asked to provide my desired salary and preference of Hybrid or Remote. I was quick to respond. I didn't hear back from her and didn't get a calendar invite. Is this the new norm for staffing and consulting firms... gather one's information and cease communication? Even if my desired salary and location weren't in line with the available position, I feel that there should have been a response indicating this.
