The Law firm is extremely overpriced for the service provided. They were lacking in the ability to keep me informed on what was going on and even to follow simple instruction (like CCing myself on emails sent to the other party, which never happened even after being requested an several occasions). They do not actually pay attention to what you discuss over the phone. So if you need anything added to documents thats not in the prefabricated ones they have you need to remind them several times or they will forget to add it. They are very quick to respond to questions because you are charged for the response, which is reasonable if they actually do what you need them to do the first time its requested. They will get the job done but you can spend way less for a firm that will put forth more effort and has better communication practices.

This firm is extremely overpriced. They tell you one price in the beginning but switch pricing later down the line. They easily turn against their clients. They do the bare minimum if nothing at all. They do not listen to their clients and bully their clients into situations that could easily be avoided. You can easily spend 12,000 and feel like you have not gotten anywhere. Go find a different firm to work with. Run not walk.

Attorney Lolita Beyah and her team (Lisa and Amber) were excellent! I was very happy with the outcome of my case. I am most satisfied with the level of compassion I received from my attorney, I honestly felt that she actually cared. From my very first phone call with Meriwether (with Georgetta), I felt a difference from other law firms that I had consulted with. All of the staff members are amazing and no matter who I spoke to, I always felt a high level of professionalism.

Meriwether & Tharp, and perticularly Lolita Beyah handled my case in the most professional manner. During the 2 years it took to settle this case, they were patient in dealing with the 3 lawyers that took turns representing the opposition. They gave me the most sound legal advice I could have imagined and helped me maintain proper focus on the most important issues during some trying times. They were forthcoming with updates as they occured which allowed me to make better decions on how to proceed. I cannot thank them enough for their assistance and professionalism. The have my highest recommendation for anyone who needs legal advice and assistance when considering divorce.
