Atlanta Dermatology

I had a great experience at Atlanta Dermatology with PA Rachel Cleypool. She was warm and welcoming and walked me through each step of the process for the enlarged blood vessel I had to have removed. She was conscious of my pain tolerance, patient with me, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a dermatologist!

I have been going to Dr TJ at Atlanta Dermatology for years and it is always a very pleasant experience, he is a great doctor and nurse Ebony pleasant very helpful and great attitude. Facility is always super clean and comfortable

Dont waste your money or time. I spent just under $100 (with insurance) to be rushed through a 10-min appt with the PA. (I was there for my daughter to explore a potentially serious health issue.) My daughter was then prescribed an ointment that didnt work; and, after ordering lab work, the PA refused to interpret the results and sent us back to the pediatrician. The pediatrician said the lab work was basic and volunteered that it was ludicrous that the PA would not interpret the lab results that she had ordered. A royal waste of time and money!

Do not come here and expect to be seen on time. Long wait times even with an appointment that exceed 40 minutes to an hour.

BEWARE OF SURPRISE BILLS. I came to see Dr Casey for a routine visit, he was great and addressed all my questions and conducted a through mole check. Overall my experience with him and my treatment was 5 stars. I have a high deductible plan so I always call to confirm price before making an appointment at any doctor. I paid the price for my visit at the office before leaving the appointment and received a bill in the mail weeks later for money owed. Upon calling their office to ask why, they explained my insurance told them the visit was supposed to cost more, resulting in a balance they then tried to pressure me into paying it. I asked for an itemized summary of my visit and was given an invoice with a higher amount of what my office visit was supposed to cost with an "adjustment" of what was owed. I then called my insurance, Who informed me that their office billed them at a higher rate than what the appointment cost was and that I needed to take it up with Atlanta Dermatology. So I call them back and explain the situation again of what they told me, what my insurance called told me, and asking that we figure out what is going on. I was told that I would be given a call back which I was, it was prompt, but I was told that I was charged additional for a longer than normal office visit. Which was false. I was with Dr Casey for no more than 30 minutes for my appointment and waited 15 minutes in the lobby. They were able to remove the balance on my account but I just want others to be aware if they end up in the same situation with them that could possibly be an inapplicable overcharge by Atlanta Dermatology.
