Metro Dental Group: Jeon Danny DDS

I went to this doctor Jeon for the first time for a routine cleaning and x-rays with no co-pay. I was told upfront at dentist office that my insurance would cover and there would be no co-pay and I had also checked with my Dental insurance company as well. Doctor and Dental Hygienist performed some other type of cleaning procedure which I was not told until checkout. (I did not notice anything different). At checkout, I was told that I had a Co-pay (and it was higher than my regular co-pay) for the procedure that had been done. I told her that procedure did not need to be done. (They did not have my previous x-rays or history and the x-rays they took we're good, no cavities, no bleeding, etc.). They would not adjust the charge at check out. No doctor (dentist, medical, eye, etc.) should perform a procedure without first telling the patient and getting patient approval.
