Weve been going to Dr. Bankston for years. He and his team are friendly, patient and thorough. Following a recent surgery, I was surprised to receive a recovery gift at home.

Im a returning patient of Dr Bankston and had my last 2 wisdom teeth removed on 12/17/21. I was in and out with little down time. I followed his thorough care instructions to a T; medications, ice/warm pack and rising at the appropriate times given. Dont hesitate to see Dr. Bankston and his amazing staff, they will take excellent care of you.

Dr. Bankston and his staff were amazing. They went out of their way to make me comfortable while extracting 3 teeth with cavities and cracking. (I'm a teeth clincher who neglected cleanings during covid and busy life schedule with work and 3 kids.) I was given the opportunity to ask questions, did not feel rushed. Then, I felt nothing during the procedure and was prescribed something for anxiety to take 30 minutes prior the the operation. Dr. Bankston had such a caring way about him and said "We're going to get you feeling better soon!" The office was lovely, well appointed, possibly newly decorated and very clean. You could tell all precautions for covid were being taken. The staff were wonderful. I was treated like I was a friend. It felt like there were 4 nurses assisting Dr. Bankston during the procedure. (This is a guess from before I dozed off) One was monitoring my medication and IV & the others were assisting with the extractions and monitoring my vitals. Everything finished and I woke up without knowing what happened. I was able to go pick up pain medication and antibiotics immediately after the appointment, with my mother driving. When I got home, I had a question about gauze and someone quickly answered and explained how to continue using and when to take out. I was foggy when I left their office and couldn't quite remember. Care package with ice pack, extra gauze, and a salt-water cleaning kit were provided. I received a call that evening from a nurse checking on my well-being! This is an outstanding place to go should you need to visit. I was actually excited the day of procedure because they got me in so quickly and I knew after the recovery I was going to feel like a new person. Recovery was an expected 3-1/2 days. But I was provided enough medication to get through. Thank you Dr. Bankston and team! You are fantastic! I'll definitely recommend your practice to friends and family. I'm on day five and have no pain. Visited in January 2022

Don't expect any after care. We took our daughter to Dr. Bankston for wisdom teeth removal. After the consultation, we pre-paid for the procedure. We then received three calls from his staff asking us to pre-pay. Is his staff really that disorganized or are they running some type of scam? Anyway, after the surgery, when it came to making adjustments to her pain meds and antibiotics to something she could tolerate - THAT they had no time for. I called the office THREE times the day after the surgery to get some help for her. The first time, no one answered and I left a message. After two hours, no one returned my call, so I called again, at which time I was put through to one of Dr. Bankston's staff, who told me she would talk to him and call me back. Four more hours went by and no call, so I called AGAIN, at which time I was told they had a busy day and get back to me before the end of the day. That didn't happen either. I had to make two calls to the answering service and finally the doctor on call made a call to the pharmacy for my daughter to get the appropriate medications. All because Dr. Bankston's staff was too busy to take care of my daughter, she had to suffer throughout the day after surgery in pain. It's now over a week later and I never did get a follow up call from the doctor or any of his staff. Go somewhere else - they will have time to hound you for payment, but no time to take care of you.

He is a fraud and incompetent DOCTOR. He demanded I have anesthesia for a simple extraction at the cost of $500. I am a heart patient and have to be hospitalized even for twilight. Prior to the appointment I told this to the scheduler and nurse. He refused to extract without the anesthesia. He feels he knows better than my cardiologist. I told him and his person I would not have scheduled with them if they insisted on putting me to sleep. The practice billed my insurance which in my opinion is fraud because lied to me to get the appointment. DO NOT USE THEY OVER BILL AND DO NOT LISTEN TO THE PATIENT REGARDING MEDICAL HISTORY.
