I was thoroughly unimpressed by the level of service from the parking gate at this complex. I came out of The Lasik Institute which validated our parking prior to my husband's surgery. When I approached the gate, the screen read "gate open, please move forward" but the gate was not open and would not take my ticket. I tried to push cancel and the screen still didn't move. A gentleman got out of his car behind me to help and he also pushed cancel. The reader took my ticket at this point but still didn't open. The first attendant that walked up, after I explained the situation, she told me I did not put my ticket in the machine and proceeded to open the machine. She saw that a ticket was jammed and had fallen I'm an area it wasn't supposed to be and apologized. She called the manager to get further direction and had me explain the situation to a woman named Janice. When I explained the situation again, Janice stated the machines do not malfunction. I hope she feels regret while watching the camera footage because at 9 months pregnant, being accused of lying was not on my list of things to do today. Very unprofessional.
