    Stay away! Do not, I repeat, do not finance anything with this lender. When you go to sell, it takes them six weeks to process loan satisfaction documents. During that time, your buyer will not be able to drive car, because you need that to register it to someone else etc. On top of that, their customer service is terrible. They are rude over the phone and they dont have a physical location you can go to. If you tell them you will just come to the physical location, They threaten you with police. I never once threaten them. Im very soft-spoken and quite appalled by their behavior

    No online payment capability in 2020? THEY WANT YOU TO BE LATE....I was 1 day late on my first payment and tacked with a $50 late fee...don't assume there is a 2-3 grace period like I did because there isn't. I'll be refinancing ASAP!

    WORST COMPANY EVER. I've had an Amazon credit account through them for 8 years and they still demand i take a video of myself with id JUST to login And make a flippin payment! Closing my account as soon as payment posts. done with all their bs. they'll try to verify your identity with your childhood phone number. rediculous nonsense

    This Consumer Finance Bank hold the paper for, and manages the retail credit installment accounts for at least five different credit cards I have. There are the regular terrible and expected customer service issues, but my experience tonight takes the cake (I should say: steals the cake away from me when Im not looking...). The computer system that Synchrony Financial PROVIDES FOR ALL OF THEIR AFFINITY BANK CONSUMERS to utilize is provided FIRST AND FOREMOST so that SYNCHRONY FINANCIAL ONLY HAS TO HAVE ABOUT 1/4 OF THE WORKFORCE THEY WOULD NORMALLY NEED TO MANAGE A PORTFOLIO OF THIS SIZE. Consumers need to remember that the bank is not offering you a CONVENIENCE. THEY ARE OFFERING THEMSELVES A SOLID WAY TO CUT OVERHEAD BY MAKING US (the consumers) DO THEIR JOB FOR THEM. We all know this, but its worth mentioning again in my review because I have spent about 3 hours trying to convince their computer system that I do indeed know what a bike looks like, a fire hydrant looks like, crosswalks look like and bridges too! In fact, their computer system tells me every time I attempt to log in ( to do the work that bank employees USED to do...) that my password does not match my user ID. Im used to this, BECAUSE IT HAPPENS 8 times out of 10 times that I log in. Going through the process is cumbersome because of the CAPTCHA aid system that their COMPUTER USES TO MAKE SURE I AM NOT A COMPUTER. ( ITS A LITTLE RIDICULOUS IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT.) I spent 3 hours trying to access my account this time because THE CAPTCHA verification kept making me pick more and more and more pictures. Okay- after 40 (AS IN FOURTY) picture changes with different CAPTCHA verification items I needed to find, it still thought I was a computer!!! So, I decided to do what I hate the most.... call the dreaded Customer Service Center, which is conveniently located just down block IN THE PHILIPPINES.... no sweat! From there really we did our normal dance of not being able to understand each other, to getting transferred to an office of theirs in Ohio, where we talked with one CSR who DEFINITELY did not want to talk to me, to an IT rep who could not help me, but who was able to completely wipe out my computer access as there is, most assuredly, something wrong or a glitch in my original set up. Fair enough and from there I aired my grievances with a Customer Service Manager. So, now I will try to re-create myself in a computer system who is certain I am a rival computer system and not a human. But you never know, maybe it will work better. Three and a half hours to do all this just to get a balance... priceless (as in a ridiculous amount of my time that I will never be paid for)... but don't worry, the company execs are making so much money by not only making us do all the accounting work that humans used to do... but they will also make a fortune in fees if the human slips one day past due or carries a balance longer than 90 days. Are we not speaking our truth enough about how we, as consumers, are being hung out to dry - oh, and we have to dig our own graves, too. This is not a good way to do business for anyone EXCEPT THE FAT HOARDERS OF MONEY AND GREED THAT run these businesses. And the only power we have is the power of the pen. So, this is my opinion, for what its worth. Probably not much, but if stop trying all together than we really will lose this country and everything it used to stand for. Im choosing to push back with words how I feel when I am taken advantage of by Corporations who only have one singular objective - to make as much money for the shareholders as possible. Thanks for reading... ******************************** UPDATE ********************************** It is now 12:37am-It took me an additional TWO HOURS TO RE-REGISTER MY ACCOUNT AND TIE THE THREE CARDS TOGETHER JUST LIKE MY ACCOUNT WAS BEFORE SYNCHRONY DECIDED TO NOT LET ME PASS THE CAPTCHA TEST. SERIOUSLY- THIS BANK HAS NICE PEOPLE AND GOOD PROGRAMS, BUT THEIR ONLINE SERVICES SIMPLY ARE NOT WORKING AT ANY LEVEL,WELL, GOOD OR even just poor. They have horrific webissues
