How does Walgreens and Walmart still carry these cards?? Corporation has 1star on the better business bureau. Opened my brand new card and half the numbers were missing, tried to swipe it for gas and it was declined. Just put 200 dollars on it. 30 minutes to wait for customer service every time. Id give 0 stars if I could. Stay away from vanilla gift cards

I received a $20 gift card from my father-in-law and when I tried to use it which was an hour after he bought it the card balance was zero.

My children each received a $50 gift card and when we went to use them, they were both at $0 balance. The charges had been made to a Target in Long Beach, California. We live in Ohio. Their customer service is terrible. They had me submit a dispute, I signed the electronic document they sent and the document stated that if additional information was needed I would be emailed. It also stated that it would take 45-90 days, so I waited. I called today, 3 months later, and was told that 3 days after I submitted the dispute it was changed to a different kind of claim and that I now needed to submit documentation. None of this was ever communicated to me. The customer rep stated "we are communicating it now" and when I asked why I wasn't contacted per their documentation and procedures she said "there isn't an answer to that". How is this customer service?

Scam/Fraud -- report to BBB, FTC-- this company needs to be shut down. My 82 year old mom bought $200 at Walgreen's; card only had 12 of 16 digits and no CVC code on back. I have contacted BBB, the FTC, Walgreen's corporate (they should no stock these cards and sell them to customers). I also contacted our local police dept. There should be a class-action lawsuit against Walgreen's InComm and Vanilla Gift Cards for the high number of fraud/scams involving their cards. The police told me they should have never asked for my driver's license. Just digusted.
