It has been a pleasure being a resident at West Inman Lofts. The friendliness and the attentiveness to my needs have always been taken into account ,and are thorough in completing requested ask. It has been convenient to my lifestyle as its walkable, spending time at the pool, being able to socialize with neighbors in their well designed game room, as well as enjoying their quarterly monthly hosted community event events. The office staff is always enjoyable to check in with. Property manager, Dannika, goes above and beyond to assist and make sure my living here is comfortable and delightful.

UPDATE: Management hosted a community forum back in March which they promised would become a monthly event but it has not. Improvements since our last review include: security updates (fixed doors and more frequent patrols) and improved frequency of communications from management. Unfortunately, everything else that has been mentioned in the review below has not been improved or has gotten worse. New tenants are offered discounts and incentives while long term residents continue to see their rental prices grow higher (often higher than new tenants) while their apartment conditions continue to deteriorate. Some of the improvements made have not been sustained and appear to be for optics rather than tenant quality of life. Tenants have growing concerns about the pool chemical maintenance and pests. In addition management has stated that they will not correspond with our renter association and discourage us from talking to each other about building/management issues that have already been reported to management. For these reasons we feel the review should remain at 3 stars.Original review March 2025: We are the West Inman Lofts Resident's Association, and represent over 80 tenants in the building. We ran a survey to provide the public with the honest experiences of those who live here while remaining anonymous to protect participant's privacy. In our sample size of 26, we're highlighting the results to most recurrent questions and complaints over the past 2 years from our organization that both management and corporate (Woodward Property) have either not resolved or sustained (see attached photo)To further elaborate on our experience, we selected WIL as a "luxury" building with both stated and shown amenities, services, cleanliness, security, and a reliable management team. We collectively feel that management is not consistently informing us of issues, nor do they make our safety and living conditions a priority. Repeatedly, we encounter uninvited/unwelcome non-residents on property after hours. We contact law enforcement, security, and management. Even with community feedback, safety has only been sustained for a few weeks at a time on average. There's documented mold/mildew, ceiling leaks ,unclean pool during summer, broken amenities, dog waste inside hallways, and pests. We feel the issues of current residents are not being prioritized. The main focus feels as to get new residents in with move-in specials and discounted rent. Whether it's slews of car break-ins last year, or extended outages of heat/AC, we feel that management/corporate will cut corners to put a Band-Aid on and not solve the root problem. It's the bare minimum to feel at peace and relaxed at home. Instead, we have feelings of fear, uncertainty, anxiety, and doubt. We have reached out to management and Woodward collectively as a group via e-mail on 2/7/25 about our persisting and urgent concerns. Other than 2 general community wide e-mails, we have not had all points addressed on long term solutions, or received a direct reply to date. This pattern in communications does not answer all questions or provide more specificity. We understand things take time to resolve, but are unsure that issues are being prioritized appropriately given the luxury prices at WIL. We're calling in management and Woodward for their attention to the issues in this review as well as our e-mail. We love this location and community and some have seen better from the property under different management so we know the potential. If all the above conditions are corrected, improved, and sustained without major gaps in service for a minimum of 3 months (review updated 5/27), we will update this review. We are collectively looking forward to seeing improvements happen in an expeditious manner to keep residents happy and safe in the place they call home at West Inman Lofts.

Ive had a very positive experience living here and looking forward to residing here for the foreseeable future! Take these reviews with a grain of salt but I would recommend this place.Pros- -Location is heaven Close to interstates, and some of the literal best neighborhoods in Atlanta for and food, fun, and year round activities and festivals. -Rent price Obviously this is dependent on when you sign during the year. Dont expect a fair price at any apartment rental after 3+ years. Prices go up. Be smart and move around. (The reality of renting in an apartment complex) -Management Staff: Communicative and kind. I find that going in person is more impactful. -Parking situation: Great garage, easy guest parking, lots of easy street parking, fair and chill garage rules, well lit. - Maintenance Staff: This team is incredible. These guys are truly so good at their job. - Building Security: I personally see security in the parking garage often. Dog owner restroom areas - Great neighbors - Easy trash situation -Cheap hall storage closets (I love my mini garage)Cons- - Pests I had some roaches (5th floor unit) I quickly reported to maintenance. They sprayed, boom no more pests. (This happens in all apartments) - Mold Just a tiny bit. I feel that its common sense to air out your apartment. I also got an air purifier. Boom no more mold. - Old Windows The building has all original 2006 windows and they dont do a great job anymore. Condensation tends to build up and restrict views. (Not a big deal) This seems to affect my power bill just a bit, but not enough to be a big deal.Overall I would definitely recommend living here. I absolutely love it.

Myself and I'm sure other residents are curious why our pool hasn't been inspected by the Board Of Health since 2023. Residents have been told that the pool is "year round" and safe to swim in both last year and this year yet it was expired all last season. The required permit publicly posted in the leasing office says that the permit has been expired since 5/1/24 (attached photo of the permit currently on display). Neighbors have gotten bacterial infections from the pool from poor maintenance of the chemical levels and it always looks either green or cloudy and has slime on the walls. Management refuses to provide updated documentation to residents and asks for us to just take their word for this that their pool is up to code. I e-mailed leasing and Woodward corporate a photo of this a week ago asking again to provide the update permit or switch it out for the public on 4/7 and received no reply from either entity. Please also note the permit states we are "seasonal" which according to the Fulton county government website the earliest a pool can open here is 4/1 way after our email saying it was seasonal in march. We have had issues with management and corporate ignoring individuals e-mails and only replying to select resident's issues and was assured at our community meeting months ago this wouldn't continue by both. This is just a heads up to all my neighbors that have been swimming in our pool that it has not been inspected so you should swim at your own risk. Potential residents should know that the pool is not maintained and if you are the unfortunate majority like me, you will not be provided with information that should be posted and updated for the public as required. If this was an administrative error and the current permit has been acquired, why will the office not post it publicly or send it to to residents who ask as its required by the county for it to be posted publicly as you see on our expired permit that currently is on the wall of the leasing office? If it was an oversight and it does get updated, Id be happy to edit this review if and when that publicly posted permit has been updated. This is not the first thing that I myself have found to be out of compliance. More recently, I found both of my smoke detectors were dated as manufactured almost 20 years ago and as most know, they should be replaced every 10 years. After I brought this up at our community meeting, they did a sweep of the building and replace any outdated ones. Knowing this was not checked prior to me moving in 2 years ago, it does not inspire confidence that everything is on the up and up as far as codes and compliance go. Had I not found this, the whole building could have gone up if another resident had an out of date detector (fire marshall inspections only check the fire extinguisher dates). Elevator inspections have lapsed 4 months before being updated as well. These are just the things I myself have found, so who knows what else there is that's hidden from view or residents do not know about. I love my neighbors but at these prices it's very much a shein version of the nearby luxury buildings. To save $200/month living here and having no pool is not worth it, go to a building that actually maintains the property without the residents having to resort to writing a public review to get a response from management or corporate.2 stars because I love my neighbors and the location :)

I have lived at West Inman Lofts since fall of 2021 and while the location is great I can no longer make excuses to stay here! I have suffered through many of the same issues that plague West Inman as my fellow neighbors who have left their 1 and 2 star reviews. As of January of 2024 conditions have rapidly declined here between ceiling leaks, mold, and homeless individuals frequently gaining entry to the building and even sleeping in the indoor storage unit near my front door I dont feel comfortable or safe living here anymore. There was a leak in my ceiling as well as holes and leaks in the hallways that began multiplying. The leak in my ceiling was fixed after a few weeks but the stain remains which makes me nervous about potential for mold. There is mold in the closet that holds the water heater which management keeps locked so I wasnt aware it was there until maintenance was fixing something in my water closet. I put a request in for the mold to be addressed and after a month my ceiling and water closet were sprayed. Also, I had to call the police on the same homeless guy twice because I came home and he was either sleeping in an indoor storage unit or in front of my door smoking and drinking in the hallway. On another occasion he was smoking and drinking in the indoor stairwell and yelled at me as well as other residents while we were trying to get home or take our dogs to the rooftop dog park. Management continues to place blame on residents for this individual gaining access rather than openly communicating with residents and providing a clear plan of action for how they plan to prevent these continued occurrences. Meanwhile the security locks on various exterior and interior access doors remain broken for months to years, allowing these unwanted intruders to freely roam the property, which residents regularly bring to the attention of management to no avail. I pay a ridiculous amount in rent for my 709 sq ft Adams unit facing noisy DeKalb Ave, MARTA, and Hulsey rail yard. There are two bedroom units in the building priced cheaper than what I am paying. Yet every year my rent continues to increase and management tells me its because of the time of year that I moved in and that they cant do anything to lower it. Around the time of my last lease renewal I wanted to transfer into the open unit two doors down from me because it was $500 cheaper a month than my current unit, but I was told I could only transfer units if I was going up or down in size. I cannot justify living here and paying $300-$500 more a month than my neighbors in similar or the same sized units given the current buildings conditions and lack of security. If you are thinking of living here because of the location I urge you to read through the recent reviews and make an informed decision!
