I loved living here 3 years ago when my dog could roam the dog park freely and I met so many friends. Now this place is nothing but rules against dogs and tons of dirt patches. If you think youre getting a dog friendly place on the beltline youre wrong.

Excited to hear that Block Lofts is taking initiative to ensure the safety and welfare of its residents and their pets in this community by making sure that our dogs be on leashes in the open space at the rear of our community, adjacent to the Beltline. Also the maintenance team here is top notch! Krassi and Cliff are wonderful, thanks for all you do!

The management of Block Lofts only responds when we post on google review. After 18 months of complaints by scores of tenants, they only cleaned the dangerous chemicals and equipment after I posted on google review. Still marketed to dogs, but look what we found in the dog park today Feb 25,2024. This is common and happens weekly. Many resident have taken nails and glass to the leasing office. It persists. One of four owners who have had to take their dog to the vet due to cuts, etc from the Block Lofts dog park. Previous review from 3 weeks ago: Marketed as great for dogs, however this dangerous work zone has been in the Dogpark for more than 14 months with full access to dogs. Several dogs have had to receive stitches. Most recently a dog had 12 stitches. A day after the management responded that they are sorry after 18 months of dangerous equipment exposed to people and dogs in Block Lofts. The bleach and equipment remain out, exposed, and dangerous. .

If you like living in a construction zone you'll LOVE living here. As previous reviews state, the dog park has been littered for months with debris and equipment. Several dogs have gotten wounds from glass on the ground. I will often wake up to the sound of construction equipment and open my window to see workers right outside my unit. The office used to send timely updates about what they were working on and when, however the last several months no emails go out and you never know how long the construction will go on, making it really difficult to work from home or whether plan to go into the office or not. Because of the constant construction, the dog park is just a sand/mud pit, hardly any grass remains and they've implied for months/years that the next 'update' will be the dog park but recently communicated that plans aren't even finalized so that will not be coming anytime soon. Most recently they sent out an email saying the dog park is no longer off-leash and you must have your dogs on a leash. This goes against what we signed in our leases and is a huge loss to our community. Dog owners used to gather daily to let our dogs play together after work and that was the main reason I moved here and the only reason I planned to stay. It's no longer an amenity. Aside from the construction and the dog park, the leasing office is slow to reply/does not reply to emails, the units are ugly and dated, internet constantly goes out (and I do mean constantly), cars are broken into often (most recent one I've heard is early Feb 2024). Krassi and the maintenance team are wonderful and a gem to have. Honestly the only bright spot I've encountered when working with this company. I recommend looking for apartments elsewhere.
