I've loved living at Walton Riverwood for the past 3 months. I moved in in May and have been pleasantly surprised by how well the community is ran and managed. My unit is beautiful with ample space for the price, we get grab and go breakfast during the week, and the workers really seem to care about their jobs at the community, from housekeeping to maintenance. I feel safe here, and love how dog friendly it is. My neighbors are pleasant and I really don't have any complaints which is a first for me since living in apartments. Any maintenance issues I have are promptly taken care of and I don't ever have many needs here. There's also a lot of community engagement events if you're into that stuff. My upstairs neighbors do walk pretty heavy, which is unfortunate, but I don't blame the apartment for that, and it's really the only noise related complaint I have. I do wish the units came with laundry and that they wouldn't "reserve" the elevators at times, which makes it hard to get to my side of the building without taking the long way but that's nitpicky. Definitely glad I decided to move here, it's the perfect location and a great place for me.

Great experience! I moved to Walton Riverwood recently about a month ago in July 2021 from another nearby apartment complex in Vinings where I had a terrible experience at the other place over the last year. Walton Riverwood is a night and day experience compared to the other place and it is clear that Walton Riverwood knows how to properly manage their community. The staff is always friendly and super helpful and responsive. Everyone always speaks when you see them and they know all their residents by name. I toured with Kathy 3 times before moving in and she was very patient and answered all my questions and helped me chose the right apartment for me. Then Jade took care of my lease and was super responsive to all my questions prior to move-in. On my move-in day Brooke was there to greet me and made sure the elevator was reserved for my movers. I also talked with Natalie the manager prior to moving in and I knew right away that Walton Riverwood would be the type of place for me based on the level of service they provide. The property is well maintained and the landscaping is beautiful and well kept. The hallways are clean and I see the maintenance staff working hard daily to maintain the property and keep it clean. There are a lot of dog owners here, although I do not have a dog, it’s not an issue for me as I’ve never once seen any dogs not properly leashed and everyone cleans up after their pets and there is a large fenced in dog run area in the front lawn which is a nice feature if you do have a dog. I love the perk of the grab and go breakfast on the weekday mornings, and Miss Tina is wonderful and truly knows every resident by name and is there to greet you each morning and she helps to get my mornings off to a great start. I feel like I am spoiled living at a hotel each morning when she is there to greet me. They plan a lot of community events which is nice for residents and they really try to provide a community feeling for an apartment complex. The type of residents here are all respectful and professional people, a nice mix of different types of residents that I have observed, some young business people, some families, some single people, and some retired people, but it makes for a very nice community where everyone is respectful and friendly to each other and I’ve had no issues so far with any residents. Walton communities also provides many perks such as the free book of the month and monthly reimbursement for visiting local Atlanta attractions which are really nice features. There is a security guard on nights and weekends by the front entrance and parking garage and I always see them out front walking around as well as we have a friendly on-sight Cobb County security officer. It is a very quiet community and I’ve had no issues so far and I am very happy with my decision to move here. I am very particular and I have very high standards and Walton Riverwood has been able to meet and exceed those standards in an apartment complex and I would highly recommend this complex to anyone who has high standards for quality of living and service and is looking for an apartment in the Vinings area.

I lived at Walton Riverwood for about 2.5 years, and it's one of the best apartment buildings in the area. It's a great location, and reasonably priced, at least when compared to others nearby. You can walk down the hill to the Chattahoochee and its accompanying trails or you can walk about a mile up Cobb to get to the Battery (but you're still far enough to avoid being affected by gameday traffic). Plus, there's a MARTA bus stop right outside the building that'll take you down to Midtown station or anywhere along the way. You're also right by both 75 and 285, which will help you get most anywhere in Atlanta pretty easily. Everyone in the front office is friendly and helpful. I had only very minor and routine maintenance issues while I lived there, and they were all addressed within hours of submitting a maintenance request. I had nearly no pests/bugs in my apartment. There are a few "above and beyond" amenities that make you feel like building management cares - free grab & go breakfast on weekdays, a free book of the month, and free or discounted access to many Atlanta attractions to help you get to know the area. There's a good mix of residents, young and old and from many different backgrounds. I never went to many of the apartment events, but they're definitely available if that's your thing. There's always plenty of parking for residents and usually plenty for visitors too. My only complaint is that trash valet is mandatory and inconsistent, but that's true of almost all Atlanta apartment buildings in this tier, so it's not really fair to hold it against this one. What more can I say? If you're looking for an apartment in the area, Walton Riverwood is a good choice.
