Although I moved across the state last year, I decided to continue to use the Waters Ave. in Tampa, FL H&R Block location (remotely) because of my tax advisor, Suneetha Bhat. She is a true professional with years of experience and is a wealth of knowledge when my income taxes became more and more complicated over the years. She's friendly and makes a note of my specific concerns, such as strategies regarding capital gains, and assuring I get every deduction possible. I trust her and her expertise. As for the H&R Block customer portal, "My Block", I think the technology could be better, perhaps guidance for the user to help categorize or name the documents in a structured manner so the tax advisor can find everything easily (I had a lot of documents, most PDFs and scanned documents; also the system let me upload an Excel file but I learned the system didn't recognize it and I later had to PDF and re-upload). Fortunately, Suneetha is thorough and clarified several items with me and asked about any records which seemed to be missing (but I could see them uploaded), so all was well. Thank you, Suneetha!
