My sister passed away last month. Many thanks to the staff at Renaissance, especially the Memory Care unit, for taking care of her like a family member. She was in good hands. Much appreciated.

Today marks six months since my Mom relocated a few miles from another ALF (a larger chain) to Renaissance North Tampa. My family and I was so impressed initially by everything Renaissance offered (and by its wonderful leadership and team members), but I waited six months to allow time to be very fair in my assessment. All I can say is, we are so thrilled that Mom has moved to Renaissance! She resides in the Independent Living building and is thriving! The receptionists are all very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The activities and celebrations offered are fun, varied and creative -- and Mom has immersed herself in many different classes and gatherings. She is particularly fond of the exercise classes and Bible studies. Leadership has been accessible since Day One. The entire initial process of handling the paperwork and getting her physically moved was so much smoother than I could have anticipated. And everyone working there gets an A+ for their enthusiasm, positive (and upbeat!) attitudes and always trying to be helpful! The grounds are beautiful with mature landscaping, and we all enjoy going for walks all around the campus when the weather isn't quite as hot as it is now. Mom's apartment is perfect for her needs. Moving her from a building that included Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care into a building that is strictly Independent Living was a game-changer. We are grateful for her new environment! Kudos to the employees and leadership! Thank you all so very much!

People that work here are rude and nasty

Just my observation: A The dining room servers are great and understanding, for what they do on a daily bases. Listing to all the residents complaints, how long it takes be waited on, and to get their food. drinks, and refills. The servers and dining room staff all need to be treated with respect, they all have families and bills that have to be met. The way they are currently treated they dont know what tomorow will bring. Two Renaissance employees Marine and Ede help help out when they are on duty makes the dining room room run smooth . The down side tis he front desk is left unmaned, no one to answer the phone or if someone needs assistance from failing or any other emergencies. Is it possible to have the marking personnel help out in the dining room? The current atmosphere feels like were are working for Renaissance not the other way way around that Renaissance working for us. Is it true that the cleaning staff hours have been reduced?
