I have been dealing with this company for about 10 years and they are absolutely awesome. I beg to differ from the comments left on the previous review. How can someone be so offensive on if they have acne or their face or if they are short or fat. That's so horrible to say. The blonde young girl has a great personality, and she is learning from her family. The older blonde who is one of the owners and the aunt of the younger young lady has a great funny real up-front personality. If you speak to them, they will tell you their story and how the older gentleman who is almost always in the recliner in the office or on the golf cart is the dad and is older and not doing so well. Also being a family-owned business, they can close shop at any time they want. Why be so nasty how would you feel if you are busting your butt all day long with all types of different people coming into the business and all the sudden you are coming 5 minutes before they close. You got to be kidding me. I would have closed the business and left you outside. Anyways they have great variety of plants, mulch and rock. The prices are great, I have sat there and compared them to several companies including Walmart, Lowes and Home Depot and by far William Nursery has had the better price and in occasions I have spoken to the other owners, and they also have great personalities. I will continue going to this Nursery and they will always have my business. Thank you

The mulch isnt a whole lot better. Twigs, sticks, mulch like saw dust and the size of a quarter. Ill stick to Home Depot. At least I know what Im getting and if I dont like it I take it back for a refund.

If you've checked out some of the other negative reviews, they are correct; this business is run by liars and thieves, and although that's a strong statement, hang on, because this is worth the read. I run a freelance landscaping outfit, and perform efficient work. One of my clients asked me to pick up 13 bags of mulch from this location (it ended up being 14, which I was not initially aware of), and let me know that 5 P.M. was their closing time; she had paid in advance and given the staff her name. My brother and I, coming straight from this client's property, arrived at the nursery at 4:55 P.M., confirmed by GPS navigation; the gate was open, and we saw the bags put aside for us. We drove up to the bags and were going to load them ourselves, with urgency, so that the nursery could shut its gate on time. There were 2 men (staff members) watching us pull in, and I got out of my vehicle, told the men the name of my client, and the number of mulch bags associated with that name. The only thing 1 man said was that "everyone has already left." I was confused, citing the time, but again got the same response. Keep in mind that, since it was not 5 P.M. yet, the gate was still open, which was how my brother and I got in. I called my client to tell her as we left the nursery, and she decided to have us return the next day. Come the next day, my client called the nursery in advance (before our arrival) to discuss the matter, and a female staff member lied to her, stating that my brother and I had arrived after closing time; once my client texted me this, I was very annoyed. Upon arrival, I went straight to the office to discuss the matter myself and confronted the woman with the lie she had recited to my client; she then changed her story and let me know she was "inside" (it's a family business and staff members live on site); that means a second lie was told by the man I spoke to the previous evening, since everyone could not have left if they hadn't gone anywhere, obviously. I told her she should change her business hours, and also that I don't like lies and laziness. Another woman (older than the young woman I initially spoke with) then identified herself as the owner, stating that she can close up "whenever I want, because I'm the owner." At this point, I had no interest in doing business with them, and let them know I was going to request my client get a full refund, to which the younger woman responded "wanna bet?" I kid you not. Upon contacting my client and giving her the news, she claimed that she did not want the hassle of arguing with the young woman over the refund, and so my brother and I were forced to load the mulch bags (sitting in the same spot as the previous evening) and leave; had it been my money, I would have taken the 2 witches to small claims court; in other words, I would have gotten the refund, because it's not about the money, nor the 5 minutes - it's about integrity. This family has grown entitled and soft, and forgotten that it's the customer who pays their rent. For a physical description of the 2 women (so you can identify them when you see them), the younger one running the cashier's desk is average height, blond, average weight, late teens / early 20's, and has acne on her face; the owner is short, fat, blond, and appears to be in her 40's. In conclusion, my brother and I lost a half hour's worth of drive time and gas plus 1 hour worth of additional work. I hope this review helps other customers know what type of people are running this operation. Thank You For Your Time.
