Excellent service by the doctor and Mafer to get my glasses.

I brought my glasses from here more than 2 week ago and I still havent received them. They told me they would be done in 3-7 days and when i called yesterday the lady told me they would be done Thursday now its friday and there are closed havent gotten any messages or mail.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT. Come here to get your glasses. I purchase my own frames and had And exam completed for me and my son. The order was send off 02/03 only thing needed was lenses placed in glasses usually I get my order back within a week. This time I went to a new optical outlet than the one I usually go to. NO ONE can give me any information about my glasses. NO ONE! Now I get a new order number out of no where telling me that my expected completion date is March 5 thats over 30 days just to put lenses in frames. I WILL NEVER come to this optical outlet again. Vision works will be my go to for now on. FOLLOW UP: Called my insurance VSP and SPOKE with an amazing rep by the name of Sarah who called VSP labs. The Lab advised that OPTICAL OUTLETS never sent the frames off. The frames were just shipped out today to go to the lab. So the several times Ive spoken to reps at optical outlets and them telling me several lies the truth is they never sent my frames off after they have just been sitting there for over 10 buisness days. PLEASE DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE

I usually dont write reviews but i am very displeased. the chart wasnt prepared correctly and my exam was done from scratch, i told the doctor i couldnt see with my glasses and that my vision usually goes down a lot every single year. for reference my old prescription was -3.00 and the one the doctor tried to give me was -2.00. when i saw my prescription i told him it wasnt right and he had me put the contacts in anyways. i kept saying it wasnt right but instead of doing a new exam he just kept giving me more pairs of contacts to put in. i felt like after he didnt do it right i was being rushed. like i mentioned earlier my vision should have been somewhere a little less than -4.00 by now, he kept my glasses prescription the same and only moved my contacts up by .25. i am extremely unhappy my insurance only covers one exam per year and it is still not enough for me. to make matters worse ive only ever been to optical outlet, they should have had all my charts on file.
