When you walked in there, you dont feel welcome at all. Theyre not friendly, the customer service they provide is straight forward. After you walked in, they asked what assistance you need, hand you the paper that has all the requirements and the class to take in order to get utility help, they stated thats the only thing they can assist with at this time. People go through things that you dont know about, the least yall can do is be kind to others that come to you for help. I hope y'all disrespect the RIGHT person one day.

Frauds!!! You only hear the good, but talk to some of the people they denied help to because they are male with no children living with them. These evil people said they would only help me if I could convince my daughter to enter the program with me. When I told them she lived with her mom now because i was on the street and she was pregnant, they cut all communication. Still approved me for Thanksgiving and Christmas food earlier in the year but refused gifts to my daughter even though she was in school and living with me at the time. With zero assistance, we couldn't afford our place anymore and got evicted forcing me to live in my car working 4 10.5 hrs a day @ Amazon in Ruskin. MM is a show. Do BETTER!!!!!

So I witnessed the representatives of Metropolitan Ministries or shall i say the supervisor supervising the youth of Metropolitan Ministries yesterday at Brandon Astro Skate and watched how unprofessional and disrespectful the staff of Metropolitan Ministries and kids were to that poor ASTRO Skate staff lady at the skate rink , surrounding her in what looked as if the staff member of Metropolitan Ministries and the youth were getting ready to jump that poor lady cursing and being bullies. I cannot believe that woman representing Metropolitan Ministries! You truly showed our youth how NOT to treat people and in fact showed them how trashy an adult can be and a quick way to land in jail and with a criminal record , with that said your setting our youth up for failure and i will be sure to make it publicly KNOWN not to donate to this place . Such a shame . Not for nothing but that staff member from Metropolitan Ministries should be terminated IMMEDIATELY. And a public apology to that Astro Skate Brandon employee and the facility should be made .Very disappointing.

I think what the program is about and meant for is great. However I do think Metro Min daycare( Promiseland) needs to do better for special needs kids. Their aren't any class rooms, teachers or programs for them in the daycare or included in the Metro Min Program. My child is autistic and it's been extremely difficult being in the program. I cant seem to find childcare at Metro Min or anywhere else for my special needs child so I can't yet work. I'm afraid I may be told that I can't stay and I'll be moved else where because complying with the program and working asap is prioritized over everything else. I did actually have my case manager tell me thats what would happen "if things didn't work out" within the first weeks of being here because I expressed concerns about working and trying to balance my childs need for therapies and doctors appointments. If the CEO ever reads this... All I ask is that you think more about those with disabilities and include programs to assist them and their families if you are going to accept them into your program.
