I was in a bind when my scheduled cleaning lady was a no show the morning of the day I was having pictures taken of my house to be listed. I called and they told me they could get a cleaner here at noon and a second one at 1. I was very appreciative and I explained my pictures were at 5:00. There ended up being 3 people here, all for different amounts of time. The amount of time and people DID NOT equal the quality or amount of work done! I asked for the priority to be appliances, bathroom(2) and floors swept and mopped and please vacuum the 3 small carpets. They called at 4 and said if they do the inside of the fridge it'll go past 5. So I said don't do it, again pictures at 5. I was expecting everything else to have been done but it wasn't. As much as I appreciate the supervisor who said, "if you see anything we missed let us know and we'll get it real quick" that doesn't work when it's 4:55 and I need your vehicles gone because the photographer is pulling in. I did ask that they clean the bathroom door as it wasn't touched. She told another cleaner to do it. He didn't. I ended up running through the house with a magic eraser while the photographer took outside pictures. Waste of money. I could've done more by myself all day. I'll say that SOME of what was done was done well. However, part of being successful is being efficient. Also, it's worth mentioning that my house was no where near filthy! It needed a deep clean as it's been about 6 months since it's had one.
