I am compelled to share my recent experience with your establishment, which has been nothing short of a complete disaster, leaving me incredibly infuriated. Over a month ago, I made a reservation, anticipating my stay at your hotel. However, to my utter disbelief and anger, on the day of my arrival, I received a cancellation email.
I cannot express enough how outraged I am regarding the reason given for the cancellation. Your receptionist had the audacity to inform me that my reservation was canceled due to a supposed issue with my credit card payment. They claimed to have attempted communication with me through emails and phone calls, which left me dumbfounded since I have diligently checked all my communication channels and found absolutely no trace of any correspondence from your establishment.
Ironically, just a few days prior to my arrival, I received a cordial welcome email from your hotel, which included all the details of my reservation. This email clearly shows that there was no attempt to contact me regarding any payment problems. I find it utterly perplexing that your staff would dare to claim otherwise.
Given the late hour and the fact that I had already endured a grueling four-hour drive, I was left with no choice but to scramble and find an alternative accommodation. The stress and inconvenience caused by this abrupt change were beyond infuriating.
when I finally managed to secure another reservation, I was appalled to discover that the price had increased compared to my original booking. This unexpected price hike made me feel like I was being taken advantage of, as I had made my reservation well in advance, expecting the agreed-upon rate to be honored.
Furthermore, I was subjected to humiliation in front of two men who surely noticed that, as a woman, I was powerless in the situation. It is absolutely appalling that I was forced to stay at your hotel because at that late hour, it would have been nearly impossible to find alternative accommodation. This left me feeling trapped and vulnerable, with no other options available to me.
I am deeply disgusted by the lack of respect and the complete disregard for basic customer service exhibited throughout this experience. The cancellation of a reservation without any prior notice or genuine effort to address the alleged payment issue is utterly unacceptable. Your establishment has shown a complete lack of professionalism and basic empathy, leaving me feeling immensely frustrated, inconvenienced, and disrespected.
Furthermore, I feel compelled to highlight the unprofessional behavior of your receptionist during the payment process. When I was about to pay for the reservation, the receptionist had the audacity to say, "Let's see if the card goes through." Well, of course it goes through! My credit limit is enough (by the way, this is the same card I used for the reservation online). This dismissive comment only further exemplifies the disregard your staff has shown towards me and my hard-earned money.
I demand immediate action to rectify this situation. I expect a full refund of the money they charged. It is clear that they wanted to take advantage and they did not want me pay lower rate. This experience has been disrespectful and the mock me by canceling my reservation and forcing me me to take a new one at a higher cost. I also urge you to take this opportunity to review your customer service protocols and ensure that such mishandling of reservations and disrespectful treatment of guests does not happen again.

This location put Hampton Inn & Suites back on our radar for travels! While pet-friendly, we did not have our pets with us for this one-night stay. Room was nice, loved the shower with glass doors, bed and pillows were comfortable, and staff was friendly. Digital checkin wasnt working in my Hilton Honors app, so I couldnt use the digital key feature, but I was able to use digital checkout no problem, and Im glad this location offers all these features even though my app had issues. We did hear traffic in the hallway and breakfast was not our favorite here, but those were the only drawbacks for us. Wed be back if we needed a hotel to stay at in this area, and would easily recommend this location to friends and family who are visiting the area.
Rooms: The shower design with glass doors was pretty nice. Everything was clean and pleasant. They had typical tv channels available and picture quality was nice. Bathroom linens werent the greatest, small and not soft. We definitely heard traffic in the hallways, but nothing crazy thankfully.
Food & drinks: One thing we didnt like was that the jams/jellies and syrup available for breakfast were all pretty terrible ingredients. A lot of hotels are offering better options for those things and that wouldve made a difference in how much we were able to enjoy from the breakfast options.
There were self-serve eggs, sausage, and French toast quarter slices available, a handful of cereal options with various milks to choose from, some fruit, and a few other things. Average breakfast experience.
