How much money is refused compared to the off chance your going to get robbed at a family dollar next to a bank and this has happened to me 5 different times now at this location and unfortunately it's the only place in the area that loads cashapp I don't shop there no more and do not recommend anyone to anyoneI went to load my cash app nd buy some things, when I get to the register I handed the manager 40$ for the food total was like 35$ she goes to put it directly into the safe and the safe wouldn't accept she tried one time and said they will not take my money, I asked the person behind me they seen nothing wrong so i went to dollar general right down the road on the left asked the casher if she seen anything wrong with my bills, nothing , ive been spending money over 20years and never had this happen, and she put them in the register and the dollar general is more in the hood then this family dollar, so I asked the manger who is they because she kept saying they wouldn't let her, they this and they that she said corporate, now if you had a 20 bill that works at self check out and took a 20$ bill in the same condition to this family dollar get what you needed just to get told no you cant spend your money that you know is good the person behind you knows its good, the lady at dollar general knows its good, just stone walled will not take it, i wasn't arguing wasn't doing anything remotely close to something that would make a casher not want to take my money, if it happens to me with a 20$ in good shape I know it happens to plenty others, if corporate reads this look at the sales and cash sales I can say for certain cash flow has dropped and it's funny because there's a bank right next door, if it makes sense I'm all for it but when someone is looking me in the face and believing what they are saying which is false it's hard not to bring them back to reality, look into that manger she might be picking and chooses, do a cost to benefit analysis chance of getting robbed vs money lost due to refusal, you might even get that money back from insurance, refusal is a 100% loss, refused 2 20s I just spent them right after no problem blows my mind

Bad service. They were closed today 10/30, and the employees smoking outside. They were also disrespectful with my father (a tourist) who doesnt speak english. She didnt give a chance to translate to him, she just screamed to him too many times. Two employees were smoking outside with another person.

This is a neighborhood store with a variety of people. Although people speak negatively about the homeless in the area, I've never had a problem with them at all them at all. The store probably does, I can imagine. The store is very very well stocked and organized, the staff go above and beyond!

Simply put an employee/cashier by the name of Marissa. Caucasian female,last time I saw her on 9/16/23 her hair is blonde and she has tattoos on her forearms. She has terrible customer service. You spend ur hard earned money and she never acknowledges anyone and never says thank you or anything. Today and always when she rings up my goods she doesn't say anything or look at me, rings up my goods with an attitude. The biggest thing is she has an attitude that I don't understand why. I'm the one who tells her thank you not her. I always try to give her the benefit of the doubt and I still tell her thank you after she is rude and unprofessional but she is so stubborn she will not swallow her pride and say thank you or anything. I've addressed this to her before several times telling her why doesn't she act professional smile at the customers and or say thank u for shopping at family dollar,have a good day or something. I don't expect her to be perfect and I know every now and then she may be having a bad day but I've been investigating this she is Never professional ever. Today I asked to speak to the manager she told me she is the manager. Now I'm fixing to call corporate about this situation.
