I was friends on FB with Maxwel and a girl from his church whom I won't mention. I had met them both in passing in Tampa at a certain church back when I had done a year of ministry school there from '14-'15. I saw this girl make a post that falls under the subtleties of something that is 'christian feminism' (offended based in fundamental logic). I traced the dots finding on her page that Maxwel was her current pastor and that he and I were friends also. I went to a recent post he also had made on this topic of 'Jesus never tried to change anyone'. Which fundamentally exalts itself against the knowledge of God when you break it down. I had explained this in detail to this girl via message responding to her FB status post. However, responding to his public FB post I said that "I would like to challenge you on this topic being that I believe this exalts itself against the knowledge of God". Without either of them even messaging me back, she blocked me and he deleted my comment and unfriended me. My experience of Maxwel and people under his leadership is as straight forward as that. Be ready for such behavior. My perception of Maxwel is one anyone could make ... he's a leader who cares more about his reputation and catering to his ego than he does about building character and gaining wisdom. Proverbs 9:8-9 "Rebuke a wise man and he will love you. Give instruction to a wise man and he will be still wiser". Neither of these can be found in Maxwel. But for preservation of reputation and a social media status he'll surely eliminate anyone that opposes him.
