I VERY HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hand for any wrist, hand issues. Following my accident causing a complicated fracture of my wrist, Dr. Hand saw me within 2 days. He's professional, knowledgeable & most of all very skilled. The surgery he performed on my wrist turned out perfectly & on follow up visits he provided helpful guidance & always answered all my questions. In addition to all of this, he's very kind. Having had other orthopedic issues in the past where I was treated as a number, not as a patient, I was so pleasantly surprised & pleased to work w a Dr. that actually seemed to care about me. Do not hesitate to reach out for treatment from Dr. Hand.

My husband was referred, was told he is a really good doctor. When he was making the appointment, he was asked how his hand got the wound. He was denied care because the doctor does not see anyone that may be involved in a lawsuit. Speechless.

I was recommended Dr. Hand, orthopedic surgeon at Sarasota Florida, as a good specialist, whose visit I have been waiting for more than 3.5 months. But for me it was not a good experience. It seemed to me that the doctor was completely indifferent to me as a patient. He did not even want to focus on the information that I tried to present about my condition. I explained that I had been having problems for more than two years with CMC joints on both my hands, and I was taking steroid injections every 4-5 months, and the moment came when I decided to move on to the next step, possibly surgery. But my doctor whom I visited for more thn 2 years left his practice, and took a break for several months. Based on the recommendations, I went to see Dr. Hand, as I wanted to get a second opinion. Unfortunately, this visit turned out wasted. The doctor was absolutely indifferent to what I tried to explain, and his face was bored.., he began to tell me that he does not recommend having surgery, that 25% of patients do not achieve success after it. It was clear that he was absolutely not interested for me as a patient, and he just wanted to get out of the office quickly. He suggested that he could give me a steroid injection, to which I of course agreed. I have arthritis problems for many years, so I visited many doctors with my arms, knees, and shoulders (I have shoulder replacement) and all this doctors repeatedly was giving me those injections, but not a single one used the method, that was used in the last century, when doctor gives patients anesthesia at the beginning, and after five minutes returned to do actual steroid injection. But exactly this pre-revolutionary method that Dr. Hand continues to use! Unfortunately, the injection I received, did not help me even for two weeks... so it was just a pointless visit. At the end of this visit, Dr. Hand told me, that he thinks that my doctor returned to a new practice and if I want, I can return to him, demonstrating to me that he does not interested for me as a patient. A month after this visit, I found my doctor and returned to his new practice. And another month later, my doctor performed CMC arthroplasty on me. Today it has been 5 weeks since this operation, and I am ahead of schedule in recovery, because my doctor is using new methods that speed up both-healing and recovery after surgery. Also my doctor said that the success rate of this operation is 96%. So Dr. Hand should return in the year 2024 and use newer techniques and information in his practice to give better serving his patients.

Absolutely useless. They don't even answer the phone. When they do. Your on hold for 20 mins. Worst run facility I've ever dealt with. I'm sitting on hold right now while writing this review about to hang up and find somewhere else. Pathetic
