I highly recommend MJ Tax to anyone looking professional and reliable tax services. I've known June from when we volunteered together as board members of a non-profit organization almost 20 years ago. She was always responsible, detailed oriented and took pride in everything she did. I could always count on her to get something done. I held a high bar, she would go above and beyond that. I try not to mix friendship with business, so I did not work with her from an CPA perspective until recently. The last few years, I've been treated poorly from several other CPAs I've used for my business and personal taxes. When something didn't make sense, the other CPAs would not bother to clarify, or give a poor clarification at best. Other CPAs would say "That's just how it is" and treat me like a 5th grader, or for tax laws I'm familiar with, they would interpret differently than what is common for those in my same situation. June is the complete opposite of that. She answers all questions thoroughly and professionally. They are answered in a way that makes sense for a layman. She cites IRS tax publications, and not random on-line forums (yes, I had a previous CPA actually do that). Her response time is prompt. The June I know from volunteering as board members is reflected in her professional career as well. I've worked with 3 CPAs the past few years before contacting June. None of them come close to matching her professionalism and knowledge. If you're looking for new services, I can save you some time and frustration and just say, give MJ Tax a call. I have no doubt that June, her business partner May, or anyone else on their staff would provide you with top quality work.

5 Stars for a team of twin Accountants who offer great, online tax services with no in-person meeting necessary.I've used MJ Tax & Consulting for two years in a row now and May has been a pleasure to work with. Everything can be done via email and a convenient online portal for keeping all your docs and records. May took me every step of the way, answering all my questions (via email because that was easiest for me) and helping me know which tax docs were necessary. Her fee was totally reasonable ($150) and she filed the returns for me (and got me a pretty penny back!).Besides that, I wanted some financial advice when it came to stocks and tax implications of selling them or holding them. For that, she scheduled me in for an in-person meeting and was really helpful with advice and knowledge on my specific questions. I paid her separately for consulting, but the rate was reasonable for piece of mind.Overall, I'd highly recommend this company. And I have! I've sent quite a few friends their way, and they've been happy with the services.

MJ Tax & Consulting has been a valued business partner since we started our company in 2017.  I am grateful that I get to have a relationship with May and June, the principal owners of MJ Tax & Consulting. At the beginning, when my company was focused on business development, MJ Tax & Consulting fortified my back office.  They advised me of the appropriate accounting system to use, of the proper internal controls/procedures to put in place, and of the tax laws to be prepared for. They continue to make themselves available to answer my questions regarding the monthly reconciliation of my books or year-end tax planning.  As business owners themselves, I believe they can relate with the same challenges that my company faces.  Their consultation has been critical to my company's early success and they have fully earned my trust.

I've used June Wong from MJ Tax & Consulting for over 5 years. June is highly reliable and has always responded to every single email within 24 hours of me writing to her. From what I understand, her business grew from almost all referrals due to every client being so satisfied and could never stop raving about her services. Even though June is extremely busy, I always felt prioritized and even sometimes felt like I was one of the very few clients she has when in reality, she and her CPA firm are one of the most highly respected and sought after firms in all of Central FL. Her office is comfortable, clean and always inviting. June is very friendly and apart of an extremely polite family who are all loved by many friends and the local business community.
