I was nervous about the experience given a few tepid reviews here. Our group of four secured 9 pm reservations on a Saturday to arrive just prior to the start of the advertised show. I was amazed at the interior, it puts you immediately in a good mood and screams a kind of trendy yet Golden Girls-era Miami vibe that is unforgettable and very aesthetically pleasing. Our server was very kind and on top of things to the absolute best of their ability - the tables are packed quite closely together given the relatively small available space. It also seemed like the servers were being made to cover more tables than necessary. Every encounter with the staff here was cordial and professional. The prices are high - you are in Wynwood. The real draw here was the entertainment. These folks go all out to please a crowd! It was a lot of fun and a mix of comedy, singing, dancing and even aerobatics and fire breathing. We had no idea we were signing up for a variety show, but oh so amused that this is what we received! I would recommend The Moon for a cute date night or to celebrate a special occasion. Go in with an open mind and and Instagram account and you wont be let down!

Food was too bland but restaurant was pretty

Came to The Moon for a friends birthday. We were late but still seated immediately. Server Javier didn't come over right away but we later learned he was the only server being it was a Wednesday night. It was a nice amount of people there not packed though. By Javier being the ONLY server he did a wonderful job getting orders taken and out. He was super friendly although overwhelmed. You would have never known. Service was excellent I felt like I was his only priority. Food came out timely and was really good. The calamari was seasoned very good and also the short rib and mashed potatoes. The cocktails on the menu wasn't anything I like so I ordered vodka and juice but Javier made sure the bartender made the drinks really cute since it was my friend's birthday. That drink was awesome AND cute. Lots of photo op spots here. The show was absolutely the best! Singers & entertainers performed like they were on broadway. Definitely got a premium performance for very little money. They sung happy birthday personally to my friend and even brung out the cake with sparklers right on time with the music. Music wasn't too loud and DJ continued after the show was over. This was definitely a night to remember and the bill was not high at all. They split checks unlike most restaurants these days and they also only have 3%, 5%, or 7% tip options which was very low in my opinion they really deserve more. I forgot to ask how to tip the performers but I definitely will on my next visit, because I'm most definitely going back.
