        My experience was awful. My loan expired without a warning or an offer for refinancing from the lender. When I tried to pay it off, I found out my loan had beens sold to a 3rd party, but the transaction was not reflected in the public records. The escrow agent refused to release the funds, and RBI refused to register the transaction, while interest and penalties kept accruing. It was a kafkean process. I had to engage an attorney and incur in significant fees just to pay off the loan.
