I never leave bad reviews, and I have come here for years but today's experience was enough to make me never return. I went in for a simple cut and color (one color on my entire head). I understand these are students, but these are also people's real hair. After an hour and a half on the chair, my assigned student started to cut. It was so bad that the instructor had to jump in after 2 snips. She clearly had no idea what she was doing. She cut the front of my hair diagonal, in the opposite direction!!! Which had to be fixed by now cutting it way shorter than what I wanted. Then she took an hour to apply color. The part she started with was burning by the time she finished applying the color. Once time was up, we went to wash it off. When she was washing, I felt that the edge of my head as well as my neck still had color, but didn't say anything thinking she'd obviously notice. No. She didn't. She started rinsing off the conditioner and I had to say "hey i think there's still dye on my hair". The instructor had to come in to finish washing my hair. Instructor had to also finish  my cut. When she finished, she told the student  "just blow dry it a little to get the water out". Well the student couldn't even figure out how to get the blow dryer to work. I told her it's fine, just try it with the towel because I needed to leave (I had been there 2.5 hours already) When I got to the car, I just started to cry. The pictures sho is how my forehead was left, full of stains, as well as my ears and neck. Again, I understand that these are students. But if you have someone that beginner, who can't even wash hair properly, the instructor should never leave their side - or, better yet, don't put them on the floor yet until they gain more experience on a mannequin.

Amazing place to go and the ladies and gents who are there are amazing as well! Lexus is my go to and really made sure my hair was done right and ready for the New Year! I love how they made sure to take all notes on everything I wanted to do with my hair and did not skip a beat! It's so easy to manage and soon will have the color done too! Anyone who goes there has to see Lexus as she listens to you and will map out the perfect style as well!!

Extremely incompetent, with devastating results. Not worth it.

The end results are good! But the experience itself is terrible. The front desk is unprofessional and unreliable. It is a school, and it may have just been a bad cohort, but some of the students are very sullen and even passive aggressive. The first time I went last year, there was a better cohort. Even for training, or maybe especially as part of training, more professionalism is wanting.

Lovely experience with my hair stylist Destiny. Appropriately named because I went to change my hairstyle and trust that what I liked for me would be good for me... a no fuss layered bob with wispy bangs. Everyone was pleasant and enthusiastic and maybe a little timid because she was on her learning journey. We've all been there and don't want to mess up but fortunately it's hair and grows back. I was really happy with mine and got the thumbs up from my daughter who also had gotten her really long hair cut to shoulder length a week prior to my appointment but in Pasadena CA. We both liked it and the price too. I say if you're limited on funds but want a treat and don't mind the wait try this establishment. Go in with an open mind and heart. Also please tip they don't request that you do but we're preparing them for the real world.
