Place looks delicious and would like opportunity to try their baked goods BUT how can they not be open on Saturdays??? Seems like a missed business opportunity since most people work M-F AND the Lakeland Market happens on Saturday that could draw in patrons.

DOU Bakehouse is a gem in Lakeland! The french macarons are spectacular! The crust is thin, providing an effortless bite to reach a light, and soft cookie layer underneath, with a smooth ganache that melts in your mouth to enjoy the delicate flavors of each macaron. I also tried their chocolate bars, and they are fantastic! The Ruby rose, a natural pink chocolate is out of this world. Likewise, their cafe con leche chocolate bar is spectacular! I will definitely have to try their other chocolate bars! Highly recommend this artisan bakery!

DOU Bakehouse is the place to go to get some delicious goodies for parties, gifts, or simply as your guilty desserts. Diana and the team are super professional and kind. My best friend recently had her first baby girl, and as a present I wanted to surprise them with some personalized cookies and a box of French macarons. My friend and her family were so impressed with the design and taste, that they now get all their desserts there. If you want to try the best cookies and macarons look no further, DOU bakehouse is the place to ge them from.
