Cipriano and Johnson Counseling

The Baymeadows team at Cipriano and Johnson counseling has given our family the right tools to help our adult son sustain sobriety for what’s been the longest period in over ten years. The very knowledgeable, personable, and sincerely caring Amy Young has been our counselor, and she’s changed our lives for the better in a lasting way. Through the Intensive Outpatient Program, Amy and other counselors here have helped my son, and our entire family, understand what addiction is, and have equipped us with the knowledge to prevent relapse. Our son now puts on his imaginary sobriety tool belt each morning, and is using those tools to build a bright future for himself. We, too, now have knowledge to understand how to nurture sobriety, and support our mutual goal of him leading a successful adult life. The monthly Pizza gathering that all clients are invited to is bold and clear evidence that if you work the program as they teach it, you can be successful for the rest of your life.

Newly in recovery I appreciated what this place had to offer, but their god awful relationship with Dr Vijapura will be their downfall. Also, the patient needs someone to bounce ideas off of that can give solutions. As my therapy continued, I outgrew this practice. Nothing against them, but between pushing Vijapura, which was disastrous for me and feeling my therapy was no longer progressing I had to move on. Newly out of recovery this will be a great starting point. After that, you may need to move on.

Ron’s program was awesome and what I needed to have long term sobriety. I know today my family and friends are grateful and have their son and friend back. Ron’s program helped me be able to get connected to other guys staying sober and be able to get support to go through life’s ups and downs. The therapists there are amazing as well. Thresea helped me really dig into a lot of deep rooted issues that I was never able to overcome in past therapists I had growing up. Thanks guys for everything and highly recommend this to anyone needed help.
