Iguana on Park

The tableside guacamole is perfect. Service is always excellent. I love their steak taco

I have been a huge fan of both Flying Iguana at the beach and Iguana on Park in Riverside for a long time. However, this evening I discovered that Iguana on Park has changed their menu and removed several of their classic tacos like the Dirty South and the Carnitas. I still think the food is really good just very disappointed with the change of menu. They also shut the frozen drink machine down at 7:45 on a Tuesday when they close at 9

We reserved a table for Valentines Day, but apparently reservations werent being honored because they were excepting walks-ins, therefore we waited 45 mins to be seated. Once seated and drinks were ordered 10 mins go by and our waitress informs us that 3 items from the already limited entree list are sold out. We didnt sweat it, but then once we received our drinks several other items from the entree list are now sold out as well. All in all, are options became appetizers, tacos and/or salads. I was beyond frustrated because had we been sat at our reserved time this mightve been avoided. I may or may not go back. The entire night was ridiculous. Who runs out of main courses in Valentines Day????

The guacamole & scallop taco are my two favorite things on the menu! Came once for brunch but I wasnt super impressed, we got the avocado toast.
