    Mark and Lisa, the owners of this company, are refusing to pay for water usage that we didnt use as we werent living in the property. We turned our keys in August 5th, they had inspectors and other personnel come in after we vacated the property . From August 15th until we turned the water off in our name August 22nd, there was 200 gallons of water being used PER HOUR. We havent been living in the property since July 21st. We only cleaned the property those 5 days and made the property move in ready. They were able to move new tenants 10 days prior to their expected date because we moved out earlier than our lease end date which also allowed them to take their time with any changes they wanted to make to the property. We were loyal tenants for 3 years even though the rent up significantly. The property was dirty when we moved in, the grass and weeds in the backyard were waist high (which they did take care of after we signed the lease). It took months for the smell to go away. On top of that, we have had continuous issues with the back deck that should have been fully replaced, that they were aware of since 2020, but they bandaid it replacing some loose boards or rotted boards here and there and paint it instead. I was badly injured due to this. Ive tried to reach out to them multiple times to make this right. They do not care. If they had issues that they fixed but the problem continued after we moved out, then they should have still made it right. Had we shut off the water earlier, they would have been responsible for 100% of the bill. BEWARE! Now Im out of $200 for a water bill when I didnt even live there and after speaking to the water company we wouldnt have even been billed for our usage. Thanks Lisa and Mark Schueneman. Due to no fault of our own we were given a $200 water bill when we didnt even live at the property. I was told I could possibly be given a partial credit of half of what our normal bill was which would only be $30. They already deducted our $75 deposit. Instead of dealing with the headache with this, I paid it in full even though it was no fault of ours. The reason we received our deposit back in full is because we left the house in way better condition than we received it, so it was rightfully ours. I have pictures of everything from the move out and even the deck from when I was injured from the rotted wood. So, to say nothing I said was true, is false.

Unfortunately most everything in this review is false. You were asked to apply for the credit with Clay County Utility Authority. "The first thing is to apply for the credit. Once that has been done provide us with information regarding the remaining balance." Every work order you ever submitted was acknowledge and assigned to a licensed vendor to complete. You received your entire deposit back at the end of your lease. If you will do as requested and reach out to the utility company to apply for the credit and then provide us with the adjusted bill we will work with the owner to provide you some type of credit.
