Was referred to this company through a family member. Nate visited us end of April, he stopped by ... took notes, was well spoken and said he would provide my girlfriend an estimate in 3 or so days. That the estimate would be emailed over. That never happened. This company never followed up with her or reached back out whatsoever. The family member who referred us to this company also attempted to reach out to Nate directly. No reply. I anyone reading this would agree... what makes or breaks a company is the follow-through and follow up. As a business owner with a name like Strokes of Genius - it is far from intelligent to utilize business dollars in this manner. If this company can't even follow through on a simple quote promised... I can't Imagine what they may do after one were to sign a contract with them and expect services rendered. Although... not all is lost. It did earn your company this review. So in summary... If you would like your time wasted while hearing a lot of lip service and end up with zero quotes provided... contact this company. If you are serious about your home remodel repairs go elsware.

When I brought Nate to look at an investment property I was considering purchasing and renovating, he caught things in the walk through that I never would and that would have gotten me into trouble if i had bought the property without him catching them. He has experience and knowledge of the ins and outs of the industry. Hes also very professional and reliable.... something EXTREMELY hard to find in a contractor!! I am grateful to have found him and look forward to our future projects.

Don't let Nate being a "nice guy" fool you. Go elsewhere unless you want poor work and unreliable workers and a company that will take your money and run. I hate to write bad reviews, but I want to warn others about our experience. They did a lousy job--drips, orange peel, overpainting--on a high end house. When Nate came in "near the end" of the project, I think he saw what a lousy job had been done by the rest of his crew and he was never heard from again. The balance of work and re-work clearly outweighed the balance of money he was owed. No integrity from a business owner. I'm not a professional painter, but I have done a better job than these guys. We had to have almost the entire job redone by another company who were astounded by the poor quality of the work and doubled the price of the job.
