Putting into words the gratitude we have for Heather Benfield is tough. Selling your home is scary, but multiply those fears by a thousand when you're selling your home without another home waiting for you. Tack on cluelessness (on our part) because you've never sold a home before and you've got a recipe for disaster. But not with Heather. While we were stressing out, she remained calm. Easing our stresses and our worries with answers to questions we didn't even know we had. Heather's even-keeled demeanor was the calming presence we needed throughout the entire transaction - from listing to closing. Her voice of reason made us feel a little more sane during the times we wondered "what on earth are we doing?!". When we got into a multiple offer situation, Heather navigated us effortlessly through the process. She explained each step along the way, even if it was something we thought we didn't need to know. Heather took the time to make sure we understood everything, oftentimes explaining things twice due to the fact that my husband and I work opposite schedules. Lastly, Heather KNOWS. HER. STUFF. During the closing process, the buyer's agent filled paperwork out incorrectly. Heather caught it, immediately. Had she not, it would have cost us. You use an agent to catch mistakes, not make them. Heather doesn't make mistakes. She is thorough, making sure she gets the best for her clients.

David and Heather showed me several homes in the Springfield neighborhood of Jacksonville. My job ended up not getting transferred here, but they were awesome! They knew a lot about older homes and the area. I would highly recommend working with them if you're looking to buy a home!

Highly recommend!!! Heather is the only reason I made it through my first time home buying experience. She was extremely patient as she showed me home after home, trying to find a home that met all the requirements on my wish list. She stayed on top of the listings, making sure we saw homes as quickly in this fast moving market. Heather was very genuine and always put my wants and needs first, even if that meant the hunt continued. After we'd selected a home, Heather went above and beyond to make sure all parties (lender, seller, appraiser, repair persons, etc.) were communicating and that things were getting done on time. If you are looking for a realtor who will make your home buying experience enjoyable, personable, even fun Heather is your gal, and David, well he's pretty great too :). I couldn't be happier with my new home and am so glad I used Heather as my realtor.
