we had a reservation for my mother's 95th birthday celebration. it was taken by a rude man who repeatedly asked if i was sure of how many and that none were children and to come early because we were taking a prime table. if it had not been my mom's choice, i would've had choice words for him. we were called 2 days before and told that they had forgotten a reservation for 75 and we were being bumped. said he was sorry but supposedly forgot. offered 5:00 pm, if we promised to be gone by 7. outrageous behavior by an owner chock full of himself, can't possibly be worth it.

By far the best Italian food ever. We do not live in Jacksonville, but visit friends who do. We are making this our annual New Years Eve celebration dinner. The last 2 years have been superb. Might have to make an extra trip or two for the divine Chicken Marsala.

Solid 5 stars. I've been a loyal customer since Jerry started La Pasta Fresca in Orange Park back in the mid 1980s. Quite possibly the best Italian cuisine in the world and that includes my dining experience in New York, Italy, France, Switzerland, and Monaco.

Last night, we had the pleasure of dining at a local gem of a restaurant, and it was an experience that left us eagerly planning our next visit. The ambiance struck the perfect balance between cozy and elegant, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal. But what truly set this place apart was Jerry, the owner. From the moment we walked in, Jerry made us feel like family, not just customers. His passion for food and genuine interest in ensuring every guest has a phenomenal experience was evident. He took the time to walk us through the menu, sharing stories behind some of the dishes and his personal recommendations. The food, oh the food! Each dish was a masterpiece, clearly made with love and the freshest ingredients. It was apparent that Jerry not only runs the restaurant but pours his heart into it, ensuring that every plate that leaves the kitchen is perfection.
