Jon the Gardener Landscape Design

We are very happy with the services we received from Jon the Gardner. Our side yard and back yard needed an overhaul, and our front yard needed a refresh. His thoughtful designs incorporated the existing plants we wanted to keep, and added variety and color with the new selections. He was professional and kind, and gave us options that fit within our budget. I look forward to using his maintenance crew to keep our yard looking its best.

These are a bunch of good guys. They did some work out behind my barber shop and it looks great. Jon is fair and honest and i would not hesitate to do business with him!

I have known Jon for a little over month now and I can say that he is very caring, considerate and attentive. It's very nice to work with some one that truly cares.

UPDATE 11/26/23- THERE HAS BEEN NO OUTREACH WHATSOEVER FROM JON THE GARDENER EVEN BASED ON HIS NOTE BELOW. (I believe because the only way to fix his mistakes would be at cost to himself). I hate leaving negative reviews but this this was one of the worst experiences weve had as weve invested in our old house. We hired Jon to redo our walkway with cobblestones, which he assured us he could do. His pricing was better than the couple of others we received quotes for as well but then, due to mistakes made in placement of the stones, we were told we had to keep paying more money for more materials or stones.. The end result can be seen in the photos uneven stones, trip hazards, not consistent coloring of the mortar used and just poor quality work all around. You can literally see where someone used their fingertips and never smoothed it out. With all of the good reviews on Google, I cannot imagine Jon being OK with this quality of work being done but he was aware we were very unhappy with it. Weve had a few contractors out to give quotes to fix it, and it will be a very expensive project to fix what was done. Really unfortunate and expensive lesson for us to learn to not pay in full before ensuring we are happy with the results. **the last photo below was from November 22- a month after Jon said they were done. We have plenty of photos from during and right after that show the exact same issues and we expressed throughout and at 'the end' our dissatisfaction. You can see the unevenness and inconsistency. It has not changed at all in the past year (besides the rust color which we can only assume is from using the wrong materials) and if the argument is that it looks different than a year ago, what does that say for longevity of their projects? It took us a while to post because we finally realized how wrong it was to leave it looking like this after having many other contractors come out and make comments in disbelief that we paid for this. Jon and his crew recently did a complete landscape design and installation on our front and backyard and I couldnt be happier with the results. He transformed our unusable overgrown space into a beautiful tropical butterfly garden. I would highly recommend! Services: Gardening services, Landscape installations
