Had to make a pit stop stay for our roadtrip because it was super late. The staff was very friendly. The hotel itself and rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. The rooms smelled a little damp and humid, but most likely because it's an older hotel. Other than that the rooms are pretty updated.There is also free parking . We had a comfortable stay and will make it our pit stop hotel for roadtrips. Also, they have complimentary breakfast with simple options, which was an added bonus.

I haven't been back in Jax in a few years now, but I am extremely impressed that the hotels standards have stayed high. From the extremely kind front desk who welcomed my family and I late in the evening, accommodating us into the requested and preferred room. To the outstanding and amazing job done by the housekeeping staff. The room was immaculate. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom superceded most hotels that we have ever stayed in. And it was so refreshing to find 2 water bottles waiting for us, where most hotels have stopped providing water. Thank you so much for all you do to keep those standards through the years! It's so comforting to know that each time we visit, we don't need to hunt for a place to stay. We have a reliable hotel that we can count on every time!

I had a 7 day, 6 night stay here in early March 2024. On the whole, Id say I had a very nice stay here. The hotel is in a decent location, looks modern and tidy, and the front desk staff is courteous. They even have free fresh cookies, coffee, tea, etc. in the lobby. Rooms are clean and well kept, the bathrooms are nice, and the beds are comfortable (although the pillows are flat and useless lol). In addition, its only about a 20 minute drive from just about anything you might want to do in Jacksonville. I didnt get a chance to enjoy the breakfast (it wasnt included at the rate I paid- $109/night) or the restaurant, but Id imagine it was pretty decent too. My one complaint regarding my stay would be the housekeeping process and staff. The hotel only performs housekeeping every 2-3 days unless requested at the front desk the night before. Housekeeping staff doesnt come at a consistent time and refuses to clean if youre in the room. I made a housekeeping request one night and the staff barged into our room at around 2:30 PM the next day without knocking. My girlfriend was literally naked and they quickly left, refusing to come back at a later time. Over the remainder of my stay, the housekeeping staff came at around 9 AM one day, and then 11:30 AM another day. It was impossible to try and plan to be gone since there was no consistency to their schedule and if you were in your room, they wouldnt come back at a later time. If you missed your shot at housekeeping for the day, that was it. Trash piled up in our hotel room and we werent able to get our sheets changed at all during the entirety of our stay. Luckily we were able to get some extra towels and stuff but dealing with housekeeping was frustrating to say the least. I would happily stay here again, and my issues with housekeeping didnt detract from the rest of my stay. 4/5 Stars.
