**Warning.. long review**So I moved to Jacksonville from miami 2 years ago which is where my hair fairy (yes I call her that) resides. Needless to say. It's been tough finding someone to do my hair that compares to her and needing to go to miami for that just isn't working.  During the 2 years I did let this other hairdresser cut and dye my hair and it stopped growing. So you can say I'm skeptical and have a HUGE guard up. I've been feeling so ugly and hating my hair. So much that on day I went (Saturday 5/7/22) it wasn't planned at all. I stumbled upon this place while running errands and walked in to ask for their prices and to see if they would take a walk-in. They told me to call back at 445pm to see if they could. I waited till the time, called and to my surprise they could take me! I was so happy and felt it was meant to be. Mind you, they had no reviews on Yelp but for some reason I was willing to try them out. I was taken care of by Perjana. Very nice Bulgarian lady. I explained my needs, wants and pain points. And I even showed a video of the style I wanted. My hair was a HOT MESS with no shape to it. I was a bit embarrassed when I took it out the bun. When I tell you that she DELIVERED! She completely  understood the assignment and even taught me how to style/ blow dry my hair so I can continue to make it look as if I came out of the salon. She even made sure to keep my length. You know sometimes hairdressers just wanna chop your hair off. I felt so pretty by the time I left there. What a difference hair makes and what a difference when someone does what they love. You can totally tell. She told me she usually only takes people by appt so I was definitely blessed when she opted to take me. So make sure you call to book your appointment. The best part of all this also. Everyone who has seen me since has loved my haircut . I've gotten so many compliments it's insane. I guess you can say I found my Jacksonville hair fairy ‍. Yay. My hair is extremely coarse and Mirela did such a great job on it. It was so beautiful straight and shiny when I left there. The color is awesome as well even though I want it to go natural grey, but her advice is to keep highlighting until we can get there for the health of my hair. I definitely will go back.
