"We have had two bathrooms done with Green Built Construction. About 1 year ago we did our master bathroom. Everything from the fixtures to the floor to the tiles were the originals from 1969. They went over different options available within our price range and we ended up with a beautiful, luxurious master bathroom. Green Built employees were so professional and neat. They arrived everyday on time and cleaned up every night before they left. The prices they quoted were the prices they charged. If there were major changes that I wanted during the job - they would get me a price and ask for my approval before they proceeded. Just recently we decided to redo our other bathroom and there was no question in our mind that we were going to use Green Built . Once again, with the guidance and assistance , we picked out beautiful tiles and fixtures and the result is a lovely bathroom. It was truly a pleasure to work with Green Built construction and would highly recommend them."

My experience began in January of 2016 when I contact Home Depot to request an estimate. Green Built contacted me and we arranged an appointment for Jan 18 (Martin Luther King Jr Day). I asked several times if this day was truly good for the person I was speaking with, since it was a holiday, and was assured that it was fine. Monday came around, and no one showed up. No phone call, no contact of any kind that day or after. This wouldn’t have been so bad had I not had an allergic reaction to the cleaning supplies I used to clean the bathroom they were to be looking at, and had to spend the night in the Emergency Room, along with the associated medical expenses. Time went by, and I decided to give Home Depot another try, I’ve used you before for several things, the financing is ideal for me, so I relented. This time I managed to get a different representative from Green Built, they arrived on time, and we were able to get an estimate, I agreed to it, and we set a time for the two bathrooms to be installed. I signed the contracts on May 18th, and the first bathroom would be installed the week of June 27th, the second the week of July 25th. So Green Built had ample time to have workers scheduled; I even confirmed a couple of weeks before the first install what time to expect them on Monday June 27th, and was assured that everything was set up and they would be there about 8am. I was also told that at some point between the signing of the contracts and the date of first install, I would need to meet with the installation supervisor to go over what we were installing, and so forth. This meeting never occurred. June 25th comes and no one shows up. I contact the company, and it is as if we’ve never spoken before, no one was scheduled to come to my home, and when someone finally did show up, after noon, I had to explain to him what he was there to do. With one minor issue, the work that was done was satisfactory. The shower fixture was not set to a point that allowed for enough hot water. I made it clear to the company that I expected the second bathroom to be installed in a timely fashion; since they had another month to schedule and prepare for my install, I was relatively calm. July 25th shows up, and yet again, no workers. This time, no one showed up that Monday, but I was assured that they would be there the next day; they did arrive on time Tuesday. They completed my install and I thought I was done with this company for good. One portion of the work that I agreed to do was to repaint the bathroom. I was not able to complete this until the weekend of August 21st, so we didn’t use the second shower until then. When we did use the second shower, we discovered that the shower knob was not even attached, it was simply on the fixture, but not screwed to it, and who knows where the missing screw is right now. The shower was also not set to mix enough hot water, just like the first shower, now a major problem, since one would think to check for this as they were installing the exact same fixtures. At no point has Green Built tried to make amends with me, barely even an apology; not even an offer to refund a portion of the nearly $5300 I paid them, up front; or possibly even to do the paint work for free that I agreed to do; something to make up for all the hassle and disrespect given to my family and home. I expect better from Home Depot and its representatives, I hope the company does too.
