The cakes were wonderfully flavorful, moist and delicious. Placed an order for a special occasion and was delighted at every step. Everyone said the cakes were exceptional. The rum cake was by far my favorite! Southern Dessert Plate may become my go-to for sweet treats.

I really enjoyed this place last week. There are many options to satisfy your sweet tooth. The owner and perhaps her daughter was there working when I stopped by. Both were very kind and attentative. I tasted the cakes, cookies, and a brownie. Everything was fantastic! The cake was moist and flavorful. You knew it was homemade, almost like a heirloom recipe passed down. The packing is both meticulous and thoughtful to protect your goods on the car ride home. This is my new bakery. Please support this small, minority, local owned business, you will not be disappointed !

I was passing by and had to stop- I mean who passes up dessert! Ended up with the best slice of Hummingbird cake, a fresh cannoli(she filled it for me right there) and an awesome lemon bar! Couldnt wait to get back to the house and share them! Then when I did I wanted them all for myself! Gotta go back!
